Today is just only a day after Alex left. Her cloak was still in my room, and no one seemed alive anymore, except for Hidan and Deena. I ventured out into the hallway to get something to eat, and saw Zetsu curled up in a corner and Deena trying to feed him. Shaking my head, and passed by Chee's room, read the note, and walked on. I got some pork buns out of the fridge and I walked back to my room, but decided I should check on Nagato. I left the hideout and went to his office in Ame. He was sitting there at his desk, massaging his temples.
"Are you alright Nagato?" I asked, nibbling on the pork bun.
He groaned and looked at me, "When did things get so complicated?" He leaned back in his chair and he let his head fall back. "I don't want to kick anyone out, but I didn't want Alex to leave..."
"None of us did Nagato. But you know how free and independent a spirit she is. She does what she feels is right, and sticks with it no matter what." I shut the door and leaned against it.
"Madara wasn't too happy about my decision either... I didn't think Alex would do something like this though, torment her, sure. But not leave. I don't want to see her go."
"If you haven't noticed, around the hideout, it's like the light was turned off for almost every Akatsuki member. Maybe you need to rethink." I placed a paper rose on his desk and went back to the hideout.
Kakuzu was leaning against the wall near the entrance when I returned, "You talked to Pein?" He asked, peering at me from the side. "Yes." I stood in the entryway for it felt forever. "What did he say?" "He's like the rest of us, he didn't want to see her go, no one did."
Madara strolled up and looked at me, "I'm going to have a word with our "leader", I'll be back later." He shoved past me and exited the hideout.
"Let's hope we can get her back."
