I opened the barrier and walked across the pond before setting foot on the solid ground of the base. Madara turned out his shoulder.
"Welcome back, Pein," He nodded. "We should be finished renovating soon; I felt the place I had gone to a state of disrepair and something had to be done."
I stood next to him and crossed my arms. "I cannot disagree, it was in dire need because of their foolishness." I reached into my cloak and pulled out a stack of papers. "Anyhow here's a stack of reports and such I recieved while I was in Ame."
I handed them to him. "Thank you, I will look over them." I nodded and began walking down the hall.
"If you'll excuse me I'm going to take a look at my office." I said over my shoulder. He nodded. "Alright, but if has not been finished being rebuilt yet." He called.
"I'm aware of that." I arrived at the end of the hall and pulled the door open. I sighed, a good part of the wall was still blown out the morning breeze strong against my face.
The group of men working looking up. "Ah good morning, we're still in the process of repairs but we'll get back up soon." One of them explained nervously. His hand shook slightly most likely a little startled at the sight of my cloak. I nodded. "Please have it done soon; I would like it back in working order in the next few days." They nodded and got back to work.
I brushed my hand along the floor and examened the white dust on my fingertips. No doubt it was residue from Deidara's clay. The source for the destruction of my office. I had already heard from Madara that Alex had blown it to pieces by tricking Deidara. They really test my patience; all of them do.
I brushed my hands together and walked over to my desk. I fumbled with the key and opened the top drawer revealing the only none burned stack of paperwork in the office. I picked them up and walked toward the door. I shut it behind me leaving the men to work and walked back toward the entrance. I steped outside the barrier and lifted myself up to the red gate. Taking a seat on its edge I looked over the reports relaxing a little in the mid-morning sun.
