'Time to go.' Puppet thought to herself as she put on her cloak. Her cloak was especially designed for Harpy use, leaving her back bare to enable quick flight. She looked down at her hand, which was already turning to bone, then sign of eternal damnation... except unlike Hidan's, these weren't temporary. Once she gave into hell, there would be no going back. She'd have to leave the Akatsuki, and would be doomed to roam the fiery pits for all eternity.
Slipping on a pair of black gloves, she grabbed Lotus, and started out the door, hoping no one would see her. Though she did realize that Lotus was a little big... she compacted the staff down to a smaller size, and entered the shadows.
Slowly, carefully, she jumped from one shadow to the other. Though, escaping from you home wouldn't be so hard if only she could go harpy. But becoming that emotionally unstable at this point... it was too risky... she wasn't losing the life she had worked so hard to build, not now. Not ever.
The exit seemed to be getting farther and farther away, since Puppet was taking her time to avoid anyone... but... with her luck... Jashin came running into the Entryway in panther form, biting at her. Though he couldn't see her, he could still sense her pressence. He tugged back on her cloak, which he managed to get a-hold of. Unable to stay in the shadows any longer, she collapsed on the floor, the shadows retreated back into her back and several of the recruits stood, since they had no idea she was even in the room.
"Puppet?" They questioned. Inching their way towards her.
'Kill' A dark and menacing voice growled.
'OH FUCK.' She thoughts as she rose to her feet. "Ummm... I'll catch you guys later, I have to go and umm... do something..." She started to walk, but she quickly fell back down.
"Alex, you're in no shape to leave, stay and rest awhile." Someone said... who though, she wasn't quite sure.
Then, they grabbed onto her arm, which was just bone, and they gasped, quickly releasing her. Puppet's arm lay limp, no longer possessing the muscles, tendons, and ligaments to function. Someone else ran up to her and she turned, "I need to go. I've lasted too long without what I need. What my people need. No one can help me, so don't even try." She sent chakra down her dis-functional arm and the skin began to grow back. "Bye."
*************
'Kill Kill Kill Kill' The voice continued to chant.
'Would you shut up you sick fuck?!' She internally screamed at it.
Getting more and more feral by the second, her sprint quickened. Her eyes already beginning to bleed black, soon she would go Harpy, and there would be no one to stop her. Suddenly... she stopped... she sniffed the air... human... she managed to pick up the scent of humans. Hoping the scent would lead to a village, she followed it.
Along the way, she passed a man who was walking towards the mountains... 'PERFECT.' She thought as she turned on her heels to pursue the man.
As she caught glimpse of him again, she slowed her pace, reducing a sprint to a mere walk. "E... Excuse me sir!" She stuttered on purpose... guys love a helpless girl... makes them feel stronger.
All he needed to do was look at her, and he'd be willing to do whatever she wanted him to do. And he did just that, he turned and his jaw just dropped, "Ummm... how... how can I help you m... miss...?!" He eagerly walked towards her.
Puppet twirled her hair and looked away, still playing the helpless act, "Well... there's... there's a lot of... bandits out here... and... I was wondering if you could point me to the nearest village...?" She looked back at him, and he was practically drooling over her.
"Why don't you... stay awhile...?" He asked... wow... gets right to it.
"Will you protect me...?" She asked, happiness caking her face.
"Of course I will but... I'm going to have to ask something from you." He said, a wicked smile playing at his lips.
'Oh, he thinks he's in control... how cute.' "What... what is it...?"
"You're going to have to pleasure me like no other."
*************
And that's exactly what she did. She licked the blood off of her hands and walked away, "Humans. So predictable."
