"Zetsu-san? Tobi's a good boy, right?" Tobi asked for the hundredth time that day.
"Yes, Tobi." Zetsu sighed, how much longer did he have to put up with the brat?
"Then why can't Tobi join the Akatsuki? There's an open spot now, right?"
"I don't know, Tobi. Leader-sama probobly doesn't think your evil enough."
"Oh," Tobi sad sadly, then he cheered up. "But Tobi can be an evil boy too!"
"And how is that?"
"Tobi kicks puppies and throws kittens into rivers and hides Zetsu-san's gardening tools and hides grandpa Kuzu's money and-" Tobi broke off, he noticed that Zetsu got really mad when his name was mentioned.
"What did you just say, Tobi?" He asked angrily.
Tobi was scared, but he answered anyway. "Tobi hides Zetsu-san's gardening tools?"
"I thought so.... Now, should I eat you, let Hidan clobber you, or have Deidara blow you up?" Zetsu asked as he grabbed Tobi by the scruff of the neck.
"How about you let me get a ten minute head start before hurting me?"
"Forget it."
"But, but Tobi was just kidding!!"
"Liar."
Zetsu was about to eat the squirming little brat when Pain entered the room.
"Put him down, Zetsu." Pain said. Zetsu obeyed, and Tobi sighed out of relief. "Tobi, I'd like to welcome you as the newest, and definately most annoying, member of the Akatsuki. Congratulations."
"Yayz! Who's my partner?" Tobi asked as Deidara sulkily entered the room.
"Deidara."
Zetsu was still glaring at Tobi, so Tobi ran and hid behind Deidara.
"YAY!! Dei-dei-sempai!" Tobi said, hugging Deidara.
Oh, God, why me? Deidara thought. "Tobi, let go of me, and don't ever call me that again!!!" Deidara said.
"Okie-Dokey!" Tobie said. And so their partnership began. (Poor Deidara!)
