This is a summary of Eragon.

Brom once said that we don't know how many dragons survived Galbatorix's slaughter of dragons. We also don't know how many dragon eggs are left. There were the three Galbatrix had but what if there were other eggs that were hidden and escaped the slaughter?
You can be with the Empire or the Varden.

Just to let you know, the Varden are in the Beor Mountains, not Surda.
Melian, Theif
After finding the egg, I found a blueberry bush and I started piking the berries and I noticed that there was a hole and so out of curiosity I looked in the hole and found bunnies and an elf.
'This must be the elf the guards were talking about.'
"Hi there!" I said.
She turned to see me and I saw that in her pouch looked like a dragon egg. 'I should tell Lady Vanessa of the Varden about this. Well there goes the idea of turning her in.' I though.
"Elf, come with me." I said.
The elf said, "No."
"Why not?" I questioned.
I told her that I was with the Varden and for her to give me the egg.
She said, "If you are with the Varden, prove it."
So I said, "Eka eddyr un du Varden." (I am with the Varden)
"Alright, I believe you," the elf said. "by the way I'm Elva."
"A fine name, I'm Azof." I said while taking out my egg. "By the way I found a dragon egg."
"So have I." Elva said showing me her egg.
I took off my hood and Elva said, "Your an elf to?"
"Of course I am, how did you think I knew the elven language, by studding it?"
"Probably not." she said.
Well that's it for now.
Because Ari had healed him, Faye was able to walk, which he found quite interesting considering how deep the arrow had gone. I wished I would be able to do things like that, then I could really be of some help.
But, alas, I was no elf. Ruby and Reath raced each other into the cave as the rest of us followed close behind. I slid down to the floor and stroked Ruby. Faye sat next to me and Ari stood at the mouth of the cave in the shadows keeping watch.
I sighed. There was no way Ruby and I were going to be able to stay cooped up in this cave for weeks. I wanted to groan. I hated being confined, it was one of the many emotional scars my master had left on me.
We all just sat in silence, none of us sure what to say after what had just happened. Faye and I were content with playing with our dragons.
I went toward the egg, but the rabbits wouldn't let me through.
Eka eddyr aí fricai," I told the rabbits, "eka weohnata finna du Shur'tugal wiol thornessa egg (I couldn't find the word for it)."
Translation: I am a friend, I will find the Dragon Rider for this egg
The rabbits looked at each other. Then they started to make noises at each other. After a while, something must have been decided since six of the rabbits carried the egg to me.
"Elrun ono," I said as she bowed her head.
Translation: Thank you
I took the egg carefully in my arms and put it in my bag. Then I turned to the hole. I couldn't hear anything from up above. I poked her head out of the hole. I moved quietly out of the hole and back into the bush. I couldn't hear anything. Then I cautiously left the protection of the bush. I was alone, but I could see a bunch of heavy footprints all around. They must have left this area...
Then I started to walk in the direction of the Varden.
I clashed with the men. I knocked them out with the back of my sword. I walked over to Kia and the guy. I glared at Kia.
"That is why I told you to stay put."I took my hood down and walked over to Faye. "Your hurt, let me help and please come with us back to hte cave. It's dangerous for you here" He was staring at my ears and his eyes were a little big but he was still smiling.
"Kay!" he smiled. I unwrapped the bandages that were on his leg.
"Don-!" Kia started but I had already finished unwrapping it."t" she finished. 'heill' I thought. The flesh started to knead together again. I smiled.
"Well, Let's head to the cave now. Before someone else finds us" I smiled.

"I told you to stay put" Ari growled and unsheathed her sword.
I grimaced, knowing I was going to hear about that later. But, right now I needed to worry about Faye. I crawled over to him as he was clutching his leg in pain. His poor dragon obviously felt bad about the whole thing and was whimpering beside him.
I looked at Ruby and nodded towars Reath. Ruby knew that I wanted REath to be distracted. I knelt at Faye's side, "You're lucky I know about wounds and injuries."
I glanced over my shoulder and figured Ari had it under control, she seemed capble enough. I focused on the task at hand. Ok. "I'm sorry, but I have to pull it out. It's going to really hurt," I warned him.
He nodded, knowing it had to be done. I wrapped my hand around the arrow and hesitated I grabbed his hand with my free hand and squeezed it before pulling out the arrow with a swift yank. Faye cried out as I threw the arrow to the side. I needed something to wrap around the injury.
Taking off my button-down shirt, I tore it into strips and began cleaning the wound with the water from my canteen and securly tied the strips of my shirt around his leg.
Sweat poured down his temple, and I wet another strip of cloth to cool him down. "Here, drink some water," I told him, handing him the canteen.
I wanted to help Ari, but I wouldn only get in the way. I wouldn't be of much help, so I sat next to Faye and held Ruby in my arms, stroking Reath too to keep him calm. We could only watch as Ari took them down.
