It was a quiet morning and sun was just breaking over the horizen, as the sun rose up the town of Daret was covered in sunlight and one of the houses in the distance lights up and a yong man of seventeen walks out. "Well time to get going" I think, I grab a duffel bag by the door and start heading out of Daret. On the outskirts of town there is another person standing by the river, I walk over by them and drop the duffel bag. "Are you ready to get started?" I ask, the person turns around "sure" a girl replies. "what did you say your name was again?" I ask, "Mia" she says, " alright Mia, for your first lesson we'll work on blocking okay" I say. "Okay" Mia replies, "Now when I punch just work on blocking and nothing else" I say. "Alright" Mia says, the next hour was spent with me throwing punches at Mia and her trying to blocking, "Here it comes" I throw a right hook and it connects with her head. "Ow!" she yells, " sorry, you okay?" " yeah I'm fine". "Well lets stop for the day then" I tell her, "Okay" she replied. I walk over to my duffel bag and grab two water bottles, "Here" I say as I throw Mia a water bottle,"Thanks" she said as she caught it. We both walked over to the riverbank and sat down, something started to shine brightly next to the water. "What do think is doing that?" Mia asked, "I don't know, probably just something shiny" I replied. Mia got up and walked over to it, "Temu, come check this out" she said, I sighed and walked over to her, in her hands was a torquise stone, with a diamond pattern. "So you found a rock, why should I care" I said, "well I wanna keep it, but my parents don't let me have stuff like this" she said, "Temu can you hold it for me?" Mia asked. "I guess" I said, "Thanks" she said happily. Mia gave me the rock and ran towards Daret, "Don't forget same time tommorrow!" I yelled out. I looked down to see the rock glowing, "What in the world" I said, then everything went dark.
