I made a nest for the egg out of moss from around the cave. Then I left through the small gap in the wall of the hollow rock I live in, It's really not a rock,more like a cave. But the entrance is small,only baby dragons and other werecats could get in. I changed into my human form and started walking through the forest. I got to the river and stood at it's edge. Then a crackle came from a near by bush. I turned my head startled then started to run back to the cave. I hadn't fought anything in a long time and had been forgeting to train. Now was not the time to get in a fight. Geting to the cave I changed back into my cat form,so I could get in. I glanced back to see what looked like a human. I slipped through the hole and blocked the entrance. Then I layed down on my bed. It didn't take long before I fell asleep.
Waking up I moved the rock blocking the entance so I could look outside. It was dark and I could see the shapes of glittering stars through the tree branches. I draged myself over to the egg nest. the egg I noticed seemed very old. It would hatch either today or tommorow.
