Canada's Trip to America's House - Day 3

Saturday, July 23, 2011 – 1-29 North, Mile Marker 96, Border of Missouri and Nebraska – 12:00 AM

I’m skipping the mood/listening to title because this is just a quick update. We saw that some river flooded so much that barns were almost underwater completely. I mean, I feel really bad for the farmers (unless they needed the flooding) because it ruined their crops, but my parents found the need to stop and take pictures. I ask, why? I mean, seriously, why would you need pictures of flooding? If you needed proof of the flooding, alright then, but other than that just because it was “wild”, we can skip it. It’s a disaster, I know, but you don’t need pictures of it. It’s just a waste of time in my opinion. :P

Yep. I’m writing it this late. I couldn’t keep up with it because it died! D: I charged it all yesterday too! TT.TT But what can ya do when something like that happens? :P Derp. We did a ton of driving today, so there really wasn’t much to record anyways. There were some cool sites that we did stop by though. Like a HUGE Pepsi can at a gas station. It was GIANT!!! D: After that, we went to the Corn Palace. It wasn’t as cool as I expected, because I expected the entire BUILDING to be made of corn, but the decorations on the outside was made of corn, so that was alright. My favorite part of that was the gift shop was on a stage floor and it felt like a small version of a con dealer’s hall! XD I know there was probably more to be excited about, but hey, that was my highlight. Dinner was at this sweet little café (I love cafés~ It’s a weakness. >w<) called Casey’s Café. It was awesome! :D For now, we are staying at the Best Western in Wall, South Dakota. Quaint, not my style. :P Well, that’s about it, so see ya later!
