And I get distracted easily. XD I would have had more if I didn’t get to watching some movie on SyFy, talking to some friends, and working on some stories. So where was I? Oh, right, DINNER WAS AMAZING. We ate at Los Arcos and I was already impressed once I saw the menu. Every page had at least 5 different clip art, several borders, and colors and pictures everywhere! But not in an overbearing way. Plus, the host was really funny. XD My brother (who by the way, has taken Spanish since Kindergarten) was trying to remember how to say thank you, he asked me, the host responded Gracias. XD Soooo funnyyy! Moving on, the service was really fast~! Pepsi ordered, received three seconds later. My family says the salsa was good, but I’m not partial to really spicy foods, so I can’t vouch for that, but the chips were addicting. :3 Food was ordered and IT WAS PHENOMANAL. I got the Chicken Mole (or in Spanish, Mole de Pollo) and – oh – melt. in. my. mouth. I couldn’t finish it though. XP I must say, if you just want something sweet, GET THEIR CHURROS. I was guarding them like crazy! I also don’t like strawberry ice cream, but it was perfect coupled with the churros. :3
Onto today!
I DIDN’T WANT TO WAKE UP. We had to wake up SOOO EARLYYYY. @.@ Like, 7:15 AM early. But it was worth it. :3 We went to go see tidal pools at Beach #4. It was kewl~. We saw a TON of starfish!!!! They where EVERYWHERE!!! I even poked one. :3 It was squishy. But only because it was wet. It has to be wet to be squishy. I shall call him squishy and he shall be mine. :3 Gotta love Finding Nemo. So anyways, after our adventure with the squishy starfish, my mom and I were walking down the beach, finding cool rocks (mine are really strange-looking) and waiting for my brother and dad (turns out, they had to help drag a dead sea lion onto the beach. TT.TT) and we got bored. So I started doing something anyone would do if they were in my position, surrounded by loads of rounded rocks of varying sizes. I started making those Zen pillars. You know, the ones with the rounded rocks stacked/balanced on top of one another. I made about four of them around ten feet apart from each other before my dad and brother joined us. Believe it or not, it was actually kind of fun. XD I can see why the Zen Masters would have them in their gardens. They got bored and started stacking stuff.
- Hoh Rainforest, Washington – 5:44 PM
That wasn’t your average rainforest. It wasn’t raining. Or very humid, for that matter. It was pretty though. :3 We went on two trails; the first being the Spruce Nature Trail where we dropped off my dad and brother to fishing (they didn’t catch anything) and the second was the Hall of Mosses. The latter was extremely long. I think the actual trail was 0.8 miles, but it felt like 4 miles to the trail. O.O Be prepared. Once my mom and I got back to the car, we were waiting for my dad and brother. We waited for them for an extra 20 minutes more than we had to. :P But they had fun while I slept.
- Hurricane Ridge, Washington – 9:18 PM
COLD. TWILIGHT. COLD. TWILIGHT. These two things are SURROUNDING me right now. It says “Hurricane Ridge”, but that’s right outside of Port Angeles, and for all those who haven’t read Twilight (I’m a traitor; I have) that’s where an important scene is. So I’m surrounded by the cold because we’re really high up and I’m surrounded by Twilight because of the city. XP WHYYYY???? LOL, it was actually really, REALLY bad in Forks (which contrary to my knowledge, actually exists) and it was just Twilight everywhere you look. My mom even bought me a pin that says “I got my SPARKLE in Forks, WA”. -_-;;; I’m debating whether or not to actually put that on my messenger bag. But I also got myself a sticker that says “iBite” on it. XD Just for laughs. That’s probably going on one of my binders. Also debating which one. It’s definitely NOT going on my Global Geography binder because that’s for Hetalia stuff only. Global Geography is like a World History class combined with a Geography class. In other words, my Hetalia high for the day. XD I’m already trying to figure out what my binder cover should look like. I have several options lined up, but I don’t know which one I like best. I’ll probably put a poll up on FaceBook, but I’ll also ask it here, in case any members have any ideas.
Option A: Background of Earth, Sparkle Textures, Collage of Fanart
Option B: Background of Earth, Swirl Texture, Giant Group “Photo” of main cast and supporting cast
Option C: Abstract Background, several group “photos”, rainbow texture
Option D: (Several) Motivational Poster(s)
Which one do you guys like better? :P I’m liking the first one and the last one the best, but I’m also liking the others, too. I’ll probably make all four, post them, and have you guys vote (how would I do that?). The last one would most likely be the hardest because I’d have to resize them just right to be able to read them.
Port Angeles, Washington - 1:14 AM (EST PEOPLE!!!)
So I started working on the binder covers and I already ruled out option C. It’s too boring. :P Option A was actually much harder than D and I tried B but the type with my name, class, etc, was covering the faces! D: So it’ll take some time before I do one I’m really proud of. :P
