TABLES HAVE BEEN FLIPPED

(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Many, many times.

Okay, so I've just about HAD IT with one of my newest obsessions. It is called "Yumemiru Taiyou" (or "Dreamin' Sun" in English) and it has FRUSTRATED ME to no ends. Before I begin my rant, here is something important: F*CKING SPOILER WARNING PEOPLE

There are four main characters; the main girl and her three housemates. The girl is Shimana (I'll be calling her Shi-chan) and her housemates are Zen, Taiga and Asahi. Taiga is the landlord, by the way.

So here's the dealiyo.

Shi-chan has run away from her family because she doesn't feel welcome. As has Zen and Asahi. Not a problem. Because this is a shoujou manga, of COURSE Shi-chan is going to fall in love with one of these lovely gentlemen. First up is Asahi. He's not a bad choice and is actually a pretty nice guy. The only problem is, he has a girlfriend he loves. Zero chance of hope there and after a while, Shi-chan gives up. That's not an issue and not what I'm mad at.

Next we have Zen. Zen is a fun, yet hotheaded guy who can be incredibly dense. But he's so adorable, we can forgive him. He falls in love with Shi-chan and is head-over-heels for her. They make the perfect pair, are best friends and guess what? She doesn't love him. Despite the fact that she probably does love him, deep down, she doesn't see much in him. And she's rejected him. Several times. Still, Zen loves her so much that he won't give her up and does everything he can to make her happy. Yay for loyalty!

I bet you're still wondering what I'm mad at. Which brings me to my next point. Who is the only character I haven't mentioned? Oh, that's right. It's the landlord, Taiga. "But Alazne Chan," you say. "What can be so bad about the landlord? He's a good guy, right?" Yeah, okay. He's nice, smart, rich, and good-looking (all of them are), I'll give him that. No problem if Shi-chan just HAPPENS to fall passionatly in love with him, right? WRONG. See, there's a catch. He doesn't actually like her. I'm not saying that he hates her. I have a feeling that he does like her deep down, but he sure as hell doesn't act like it. He's even said that he doesn't love her, but will try to like her. Does anyone else see something wrong with this? We have Zen, who loves Shimana, has said it several times, is perfect for her, doesn't lie and is always by her side. Then we have Taiga, who lies, isn't AT ALL compatible with her, and DOESN'T LOVE HER going out with her! Yes, Shimana is an idiot and isn't going after the one guy who's in love with her. Do you see why I'm so pissed? Shimana has the PERFECT MAN chasing after her, but ditches him for the one of the two guys who DOESN'T LOVE HER? Excuse me, but do I smell a bitch?

Okay, that was a bit cruel. But you have to see my point of view. I've been rejected more times than I can count by guys who didn't like me. And yeah, I've been in a failed relationship that - I will admit - I broke off because I knew that I only liked the guy for the attention he gave me. I won't lie about that. It's the truth! But at least I'm smart enough to know when to get out of a failed relationship before it gets too serious. Shimana isn't doing that. Taiga has said he doesn't love her, so she needs to give up on him and go for a real man that loves her (i.e. ZEN) and stop relying on Taiga to save her from everything.

RANT: END

That's the extent of it. But that's not the only reason I'm flipping tables. My friend Trisha (I've mentioned her before) has me writing Totally Dysfunctional lately and it's exhausting me. =_=; It's fun, but it's hard. Plus, I'm even frustrated with my own characters! I'm the author that writes as I please; no outline needed. So even I don't know what's going to happen. Still, my own OC is a real BITCH sometimes and needs to be revised. Big time.

RANT 2: END

That's the extent of my anger. Other than that, school's been good - it's not as hard as I thought it would be - and I can finally get my learner's permit! *cheering* Everyone, off the roads! XD
