"Thirteen Court Guard Squads Rules of Cleaning," Head Captain Yamamoto announced pointing to a blackboard with those exact words.
"Why do we have to listen to the old geezer talk about cleaning when we can be fighting Hollows?" Ikakku complained. All of the 13 Court Guard Squads were crowded into a classroom in the Shinigami Academy. The captains seated at the front, followed by lieutenants and seated officers in descending order. The non-seated officers at the back.
Banging his staff on the ground, Head Captain Yamamoto stared hard at Ikakku, opening an ancient eye, and said, "Please be quiet 3rd seat Madarame, this is an important meeting to discuss the rules of cleaning." The whole room nearly burst out laughing at the absurdness of the subject, but not wishing to feel the wrath of Head Captain Yamamoto.
"As I was saying," The Head Captain continued. "Thirteen Court Guard Squads Rules of Cleaning. Rule Number 1, when moving heavy objects, NO BANKAI." Everyone froze and gaped at the Head Captain, all in their minds thinking about how the HELL Head Captain Yamamoto came up with this. The room immediately erupted into laughter. Even the angry banging of the Head Captain's staff on the ground could not stop it. Eventually, the laughter died down and the glare all of them, except for a select few who did not laugh, were given a stare burning with angry flames.
"The reason for this rule," Head Captain Yamamoto continued with the anger still apparent in his voice. "is because of this incident that ended up destroying much of Sereitei." Moving to the side, a pair of shinigami pushed a screen onto the floor where Yamamoto once stood. On the Head Captain's cue, the lights dimmed and the screen began to play a sort of video. The video showed the 7th Division struggling to move a big cabinet while cleaning their Barracks. Tetsuzaemon had sat down on the couch in defeat, drenched in sweat. Feeling a hand on his shoulder, he looked up to find his captain smiling dazzlingly at him. The scene changed as the video then displayed the outside of the 7th division Barracks with Komamura's Bankai, Kokujo Tengen Myoh, carrying the cabinet through the 7th Division Barracks, destroying most of it. It was there that the video ended, leaving everyone in the room in silence. Anyone who looked in Komamura's way saw his embarrassment in his bowed head.
"Rule Number 2," Head Captain Yamamoto continued, stepping in front of the screen. "If an embarrassing object is found, NO BANKAI." It was Ikakku that stated what everyone was thinking.
"That's the same rule you old geezer,"
"3rd Seat Madarame, this rule applys to something completely different from the previous rule," Yamamoto said glaring at Ikakku. Turning to the shinigami behind him, he said, "If you please," before moving aside.
This time, the video was taken in the 12th Division. The video showed the 12th Division Members opening a sort of cabinet, finding something embarrassing, as the video didn't display it and as Captain Kurotsuchi walked by, his blush could be seen clearly even through his mask. Like the previous video, the scene changed into outside the Department of Research and Development. Captain Kurotsuchi's Bankai, Konjiki Ashisogi Jizo, could be seen destroying part of it. The video ended right there.
After the video, Members of the 12th Division, especially Captain Kurotsuchi could be seen with a deep red blush on their face. No one even dared move, fearing that they would be in next video.
"Rule Number 3," Yamamoto continued. "When reprimanding a lazy subordinate, NO BANKAI." Hearing this, Rangiku visibly hung her head and Captain Hitsugaya wore a satisfied smirk on his face. Seeing the video, everyone finally knew why.
The video showed Captain Hitsugaya and Lieutenant Matsumoto working to clean their office, but Rangiku was painting her nails pink. Behind her, Toshiro could be seen gripping his broom so tightly that it broke. An idiot could tell he was furious. The scene then changed to outside the 10th Division Office, showing Toshiro's Bankai, Daiguren Hyourinmaru, Attacking something in the office, making the roof explode off. Everyone knew it was Rangiku.
"Alright," Head Captain Yamamoto said stepping in front of the screen. "Everyone is dismissed! Keep the Rules in mind while cleaning!"
The second everyone exited the Academy, they all burst into laughter. The atmosphere became one of cheerfulness that helped everyone take their minds off the fast approaching Winter War with Aizen.
Inside the classroom, Head Captain Yamamoto smiled to himself. It was a complete success.

1-Izuru Kira
Yeah, I actually don't know why he's my favorite character, but I guess its because he's so awesome in the New Captain Shusuke Amagai Arc!
2-Toshiro Hitsugaya
The short (sorry shiro-chan) 10th Division Captain is my 2nd favorite! I think in the anime, he has the funniest moments. Getting mistaken for a child, yelling at Rangiku, his lazy lieutenant, and getting teased about being the boyfriend of Karin! He tries to act like an adult, but he really is like a child. That's what I like about him.
3-Rangiku Matsumoto
And Rangiku, Toshiro's lazy lieutenant, comes right after her Captain! Rangiku always seems to have a split personality to me. Striving to annoy her Captain, drinking sake and avoiding the dreaded paperwork is how she spends her days at the 10th Division Barracks. But what I find fascinating is that when a battle comes along, Rangiku becomes serious and determined. Striking down the enemy and protecting her Captain. She really does care for her Captain (even though she annoys him alot).
4-Luppi (Former 6th Espada)
The former 6th Espada, killed by Grimmjow. Grrr... I'm mad at him... I really liked Luppi even though you only see him for 1 episode. He always seems to be calm and collected and I find his resurrection form quite interesting.
5-Halibel (3rd Espada)
*sigh* And Halibel, like all the espada die. BUT I HATE HOW SHE DIES!!! CURSE YOU AIZEN FOR KILLING HER!!! Yeah, anyway it was Aizen that killed her. Her past life was quite intriguing and her fraccion are so awesome! Plus she's the only female in the 10 Espadas and that make me think good for her. Because usually females are considered weak. And being the 3rd Espada too!
6-Kisuke Urahara
Mr.Hat 'n' Clogs is next! Yup, that's what Ichigo calls him in the Dubbed version of Bleach. I like him because his personality is most interesting. Being able to joke around while battling is quite amusing. On first glance, he may seem like a weak guy, but he really is a good fighter. He wasn't the 3rd seat of Squad 2 for nothing!
7-Hanataro Yamada
I find Hanataro cute! 7th seat of the 4th division, Hanataro is an interesting guy. He is jumpy and nervous around those with higher rank, but his Zanpakuto is quite powerful. Although the shikai is quite amusing. A little knife thing! It's so funny how when he gets intimidated, Hanataro bows down and immediately starts apologizing! It cracks me up when he does that!
8-Sajin Komamura
Hanako and I call him the doggie. At first glance I actually thought he was a fox, but I then figured out he is a dog. I'm not entirely sure why I like him so much, but I figure hes JUST AWESOME.
9-Grimmjow (6th Espada)
Yes, the Grimmjow that killed Luppi is my 10th favorite. Why you ask? Because I find his personality quite interesting. And yes, I'm repeating that over and over for alot of characters already, but it's true. I dunno, but it seems I like his savage personality. Like Demon Inuyasha I guess. KILL.
10-Shunsui Kyoraku
Like Rangiku, he loves drinking sake and slacking off. His lieutenant Nanao has to keep him in check. I like how he can stay laid back and relaxed even in the middle of a battle. I find his games while fighting is interesting and fun to watch. Fun to play too...
11-Mayuri Kurotsuchi
I used to think of him as creepy and insane(sorta), but now I actually like him. Funny huh? There are some aspects to him that I don't like, like how badly he treats Nemu, but I still like him. I find it funny when he wants something as a specimen and everyone's looking at him like O.o. His Zanpakuto is quite unique and I find it quite interesting. OMG, I sound like Mayuri! (XD) Anyway, I find that he is an interesting character in the anime.
12-Retsu Unohana
Yes, I like the creepy healer of the 4th division that can be scarier than Kenpachi. In fact, that is why I like her.
13-Ulquiorra (4th Espada)
The 4th Espada who I find quite interesting(Mayuri^.^). The Espada who is always calm and looks as if he is constantly sad. The reason I like him is because of his resurrection forms. And I say forms because he has 2. I also find the instant regeneration quite fascinating(Mayuri^.^)
14-Ichigo Kurosaki
And no, I don't like him because he's the MAIN CHARACTER, but he always seems so hard headed and gullible. But the most amazing part is that he becomes serious and determined when it comed to protecting the ones he love. (and if you're thinking about boyfriend/girlfriend relationships, I'm not referring to that. I think it's more like family relationships) I love his shouting sessions with his friends too! It's absolutely hilarious!
15-Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck (Former 3rd Espada)
And yes, I remember her full name, I did not search it up. Its so fun to say too... Anyway, I really like her mini self, she was so CUTE! I also like her real self, she is so calm and collected and her fighting is amazing. I hate Nnoitora for throwing her out of Las Noches.
So there you have it, my Top 15 Favorite Bleach Characters. Hanako and I are currently working on a Favorite Zanpakuto List, so that will be up sometime around.
