Jewlery

As some of you know from a post I did. I am allergic to metal. I can only wear two types of metal... Sorry about that three types of metal. Titanium, Niobium, and Aluminum.

“How is this so and why only those three, you ask?”

Their molecular structure takes longer to break down. In other words. They don’t tarnish, rust or decay quickly. My body has a VERY high acid content in it. So when metal lays against my skin the acid in my body causes the metals to break down quicker. This reaction causes the metal to burn me leaving red blemishes behind on my skin that will NEVER go away, and yes I CAN feel the metal burning my skin. So because I am weird… heehee. I make my own jewelry these days. Here is a sample of one I made…

The necklace and earrings are made from Silver Niobium with round crystal Swarovskis. This is called Chain Maille. Something I got into when I started making my own jewelry. I have a few sets I have made. One set is a color of a soft pink rose with crystal Swarovski cubes. SO PRETTY... I will share that one another day...
