Two checks from the lady I've been working for/helping out for the past spontaneously determined amount of time. One check for a hundred twenty five now, one for a hundred fifteen when we get to the end of the month. (When she gets paid again.) And of course I still have things to do with her. Like mow the front lawn (which is ridiculously long right now; the back yard killed me today) and finish up that shed project.
But the point is that I have funds. And so I should be getting that headset mic and Guild Wars soon. Hooray!
I think Shadow senses that it's time for me to head back to school soon. She's been attention-hungry for the fourth day in a row, and it's making me laugh. If I pick her up and put her on my shoulder, she does NOT want to get down, and will stretch and sink her claws into my shoulder to express her desire. She also passed out in my arms Sunday afternoon.

Anyway, got an idea for a sketch for each of the prompts I tossed at Kei in the chatroom, and I'm also considering revising a Veridan sketch I did back in tenth grade that we did for a random creative writing session. I got a front and back of one page in fifty minutes with the only inspiration being an iris. But that reminds me that I was going to keep working with the Species Characterisation thing, which I need to do so I can get a look at the other species in there and what, but I just can't seem to get my head to focus on anything written lately.
I wonder what would happen if I stayed out of the chatroom for a week....
