Come On, Scott.

Scott Ramsoomair, of VGCats fame, left a post about a week ago on how much he enjoyed Left 4 Dead 2. And while the game may very well be a good game (I haven't played either one yet, so I can't say), his comments left me feeling more dubious about him than anything else.

I started feeling bizarre in about the second paragraph.

The main area of improvement I think is in verses play. The scoring system has been revamp to reflect progress rather than health (unless it's a tie breaker). This has lead to more balanced matches. Where a team who was losing can still win, even late in the game. This has helped a LOT in rage quitting. Will it ever solve the problem completely? No, people can still be dumbasses. That a problem bigger than Valve.

As well the new infected work to solve a lot of the annoyances of the past. Usually in any kind of frantic activity (Horde, crescendo, etc...) the survivors will take to a corner to ride it out. You do so at great risk now from spitter loogies and charger rams. Forcing people to actually play the game the way it was meant to be.

Do I expect quality and coherence out of everyone? No. But I do expect it out of people who usually give it to me.

Come on, Scott.
