Umpiring softball games is much more fun than standing around watching them—even though you're paid to essentially stand around and watch them. Least this way I get an excuse to move around every play.
Also twenty bucks a game is nice.
And I realised last night that the whole "I don't understand the whole 'favorite character' thing" I do isn't totally genuine. Was watching Farscape episodes and cheered to myself when I realised it was Chiana's intro ep because there are still four episodes left in season one and I was getting worried she wasn't going to show up 'til the season finale. Chiana's probably the only favorite character I've had ever. Guess she's kind of like R. Dorothy in that regard.
(Gotta say, though, the suspense is kinda ruined a bit when you know the purported villain is actually a soon-to-be crewmate.)

I need to try to install Word or Open Office on my computer again.
