Still nothing on the employment front. Saw a notice in the university center today that mentioned FedEx Ground is looking for package-handlers, though. It's not handling animals (at least unless people start sending animals as packages, and blah) but it'd definitely be busy-work, which I am good at. Plus I like moving a lot. Got to give them a phone call for info and to set up a mandatory floor-observation session, and since my lab tomorrow morning has been canceled I shall be on that first thing bright and early.
Also been blazing through downloads again. Rapidshare is really funky now, but Megaupload still works, and I found an add-on that auto-solves the captcha image. Still have to babysit the downloads, but I don't actually have to type the letters to get to the link page or wait for the link to pop up so I can click it and be prompted where to save. Besides that, our current download speed ranges anywhere from 250 Kbps to 1.8Mbps, which is insane. I've quite literally finished four episodes while writing these two paragraphs alone.
Movie time last night was great. As always, there were a few things here and there to crack a joke at, but Cool Hand Luke was one of the more powerful and well-executed movies I've seen in a long time, and I spent a great deal of time just sitting and watching it unfold.
I did think about potato'ing Shin's countdown. Decided against it, though, since I had an ice cream cone in one hand.
