But First!
About the middle of July last year there was a little random-fact thing that went 'round the site, and in which I mentioned that for a short scene I'd "...used for inspiration a tan-and-crimson iris that had bloomed outside my window one year ... [and] turned it into a wood spirit that used the illusion of said flower to lure in people so it could devour their life force...".
The iris finally bloomed again. It's so cool! X3
Also I'm aware that it's actually more of a tan-and-wine, but given it had been about six years since the flower had bloomed at the time I wrote the tidbit, I think I can be forgiven a slight memory slip.

So, you all should remember dear little Oliver-kitten from the winter. Well, he's started to grow up. He's still got a good bit of feisty kitten in him, as evidenced by the recent rips on the back of my hands, but he's also gotten a lot sweeter, and a fair bit bigger.
I'm trying to get some decent active shots, but it's hard. So bear with me, since most of these are of him either unconscious or semi-conscious.
