Picking up some info on jogging/breathing before going in for job training today. Putting it here so I can look at it later.
- Continue breathing deep and low in the lungs, just like for playing trombone.
- Try a few minutes of very slow jogging before the actual mile itself, see what happens. Apparently this is something they do in Kenya. o_O
- A quicker pace means faster breathing. Try 3-in/2-out instead of the 4/4, see if that starts making a difference.
- At least attempt to inhale through the nose, if not breathing totally through it. I know mouth-breathing can dry you out faster, but apparently it's also better stamina-wise.
