I'm sure you've heard this before, guys, many, many times, or at least once at some point in your life. But I'm going to say it again because hearing it another time won't hurt. Random acts of kindness, even little things, are priceless. Unexpected things that demand nothing in return. You like it, don't you, when someone unexpectedly gives you a gift? Just the fact that they thought of you makes you happy, right? Or when someone unexpectedly asks you what's up, how's it going, what's new. It makes you feel cared about, doesn't it? Putting a little more love, kindness, and caring into the world is a very good thing. It's true, what they say, a small act of kindness can be passed on from person to person from the one who inspired it in another person. And it can come back to you. So guys, I'm asking you to do at least one, and maybe more, of the following. PM someone on theO, maybe a friend, maybe someone you don't talk to much, and ask them what's up. Wish them a good day. If there's something you like about a person, tell them next time you see them. Write someone a letter or a poem. Get someone a small gift for no reason. Find someone you don't know all that well and strike up a conversation. These little things can have a huge impact even if you don't realize it at the time. Random acts of kindness, guys. You'll probably hear about this again and again, and now you've heard it from me. I'm setting out to do all of these things in the next week, and I hope I add a pleasant surprise to someone's day. The best thing I can hope for is to make them want to pass it on--to inspire them to doing something small for someone else for no reason except to do it. Then I will have started a little ripple effect of small things to smile about, and in a world full of big things to be sad about and scared of, that's more important than I can say.
Random acts of kindness, etc.
