Jiraiya told us that we would be on an exercise with him and that we shouldn't worry, since it was only a preliminary test, where we would be examined for flexibility, skill, and teamwork. He held up two bells and grinned. "You know what to do already, don't you?"
Pissed beyond belief, we nodded. "No breakfast. Try to take the bells from you. We'll be at it until noon, starting from dawn. The loser has to get tied to a stump. Right? Oh, and no lunch for the loser." I said unenthusiastically.
"That's the spirit!" Jiraiya said with a smile. "I'll see you at dawn tomorrow. Bright and early. Got it?"
"Got it!" We intoned.
