Mission 1: Day 7: Kabuto

I went to the appointed place at the appointed time...dressed in a kimono a grade nicer than my street-walker-hoochie-mama bar outfit. My hair was down, for once and my make-up toned down. I looked more like a lady than I had...since I had begun my ANBU training. Kabuto stepped out of the shadows, his eyes hidden by the glint of his glasses.
He spoke, his voice deeper than what I had thought it would be. For some reason, I had been expecting a chipmunk voice. "Your agent told you the conditions of our meeting, correct?"
"Yes," I answered, keeping my voice demur and soft. "I am ready to go." Little did he know that I had back-up anyway. Jiraiya-sensei, Cat, and Zhen were following us. I did not panic and strike out when he slipped the blindfold over my eyes, the way I usually did when someone tried to deprive my senses. I squirmed a little, despite my ANBU discipline. I could hear sounds well enough to track close-range opponents without sight, but that did not mean that I would not miss seeing. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up as he wrapped a hand around my arm and began guiding me.
