(Chapter 6) The fall of light, rise of darkness

The night was dry and the smoke slowly cleared all the agony that was placed upon my heart that night. The agony was gone, but the pain still lasted deep inside her soul. He was gone, gone for now... As he walked away, all the darkness went away. And the light was drawn out. The was nothing, only Celeste in my own thoughts and hopes for 'him', the one that she dreams of and the one that would come and save her.

Angelo had a strong love for her, but he was too selfish. She could never return love to a man like him. Maybe, at one point, Coleste actually showed a sign of hope for Angelo, but that was long gone. He and she went with their own path, leaving the hope for each other always closed and never receiving its opener.

Coleste looked all around her. There were lucimodus scattered all over the place. Lucimodus were devices that hold memories inside them. They were like photo albums to humans from the world, just that lucimodus hold all the dear that was in someone thoughts and kept for a close reminder for angles and their main duty. But there was something else in the ones that Coleste was seeing. They were filled with memories of her, from every step that she took, from every moment that she made. He was actually always a step behind her...

She was frightened now even more! She tried with all her strength to let loose all the rope that was on her, but little that she knew is that the rope was made of the light petals and cursed with Angelo's own blood making it almost impossible to cut loose. Celeste was quite familiar with that ritual, the one only used against their arch enemies, the vampires. In this case, Angelo was even ready to go that far not caring on the consequences.

Time was slowly passing away. The numbers on the heavenly watch were almost grouped at one point. It was midnight. Just as the two pointers clashed together a familiar face appeared at the door. It was Angelo and he was back eager to hear the answer.
"Tell me your answer, my peche.." Speaking softly he put up a strong smirk on his face. Coleste was strong, but even she was close to her limits.

"I-I.. I will never marry you!!! No matter how much you ask, no matter how much you beg, torture me or anything, I will not bow down to your will!" She was desperate, but she still rejected. A girl, even angel in her age was easy to break, but she kept her composure. She was ready to fight back!

"Then my little peche, I am afraid that you will spend some more time in my chambers. Farewell..." He walked away, filled with anger and yet love. Coleste was again kept in dark. She even began crying. Her tears filled with her own sorrow flowed down from her face.

She was on the edge to burst, when suddenly someone else was coming through the door. She thought that it was Angelo and started screaming and throwing some vulgar words on him. The dark figure was coming down slowly and carefully, with every step taking revealing more that it was someone else. Coleste stopped shocked and started looking who he was. She couldn't move and knew that the person who was in front of her could do any things he wanted now to her. Just at that moment...

It was the Dark king of the vampires! She could recognize the seal on her cloak. At the moment all her feelings combined and messed up. Hope was slowly going up and down and she didn't know what to believe. But she knew one thing for certain. It was him...
