i got kino's journey (or Kino no Tobi(i think)) from another library
i read the novel so i wanted to see the anime
and it was really good but it was abit sad when it go to the part where the book began
kino(you never know her real name) lived in a city were they take the kid out of your brain when it's your twelve birthday. so you'll become the perfect adult, which means you can do your job with a smile on your face. without feeling like your doing something wrong or something you don't wanna do. it was really creepy, the orignal kino(the traveler that came to the main character's town) was killed by the main's dad. the main's father just took the knife out of kino and laughed about and acted like it was nothing. (the reason the main's father killed kino was because, Kino got in the way when he was trying to kill the main)(he tryed to kill her, because she didn't wanna become a perfect adult) (she ran away when they tryed to kill her again)
it's a good anime, it seems like Death Note and The giver mixed together
