One of my favorite animes so far is non- other than the ever popular Attack on Titan
Summary:
Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by Titans. Titans are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest Titans. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a Titan in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a Colossal Titan that appears out of thin air. As the smaller Titans flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single Titan and take revenge for all of mankind.

I don't know if Professor Layton is really considered an anime but I kinda already consider it one myself -^^- And there is a movie about it too, so I guess it's hit the anime world a bit. I really love this movie (well I love the whole series too, but not the point) . It has everything you would expect in a movie about Professor Layton. Of coarse its absolutely charming but its also funny and even brings in aspects of the game into the movie itself.
About: Layton and his apprentice Luke are invited to an opera by one of his former students, Janice Quatlane. He learns that most of the audience in attendance have come seeking eternal life elixir, which has been promised to be given to a single person who successfully comes out on top after a series of puzzles. Along with the claim that a young woman who died has been reborn as a child. The mysteries run deep as Layton seeks the truth behind all the riddles. When you think you know who the culprit, there's even more behind it. Will Layton unveil the truth behind everything?
Story Line: The protagonist of Sailor Moon, Usagi Tsukino, an ordinary, ditzy, 14-year-old girl — or so she thinks — discovers a talking cat named Luna, who reveals Usagi's identity as "Sailor Moon", a magical warrior who is destined to save Earth from the forces of evil. Usagi must now find the Moon Princess and protect Earth from a series of antagonists, beginning with the Dark Kingdom that appeared once before a long time ago and destroyed the Moon Kingdom.
When the dark nemesis attacked the kingdom, the Queen sent the Moon Princess, her guardians, her advisors, and her true love into the future to be reborn. As Usagi and Luna battle evil and search for the Moon Princess, they meet and awaken the other Sailor Senshi, the Moon Princess' guardians, and the mysterious Tuxedo Mask, the Moon Princess' true love.
As the series progresses, Usagi and her friends learn more and more about the enemies they face and the evil force that directs them. The characters' pasts are mysterious and hidden even to them, and much of the early series is devoted to rediscovering their true identities and pasts. Luna, who guides and advises the Sailor Senshi, does not know everything about their histories either, and the Senshi eventually learn that Usagi is the real Moon Princess; the Moon Princess' mother had her reborn as a Sailor Senshi to protect her. Gradually Usagi discovers the truth about her own past life, her destined true love, and the possibilities for the future of the Solar System. (Info from wikipedia)
Personal Note: I really like the manga and love how retro Sailor Moon has become. It has action, adventure, comedy, and even a bit of romance. Usagi is absoloutel adorable and is one of my favorite characters along with Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Venus. I have only read volumes 1 through 5 so no spoilers please! >.<

I haven't posted about any manga recently so I guess I will talk about this one ^^ I actually checked part of this series out around last week and finished it Sunday. It's a cute story with adorable looking characters and a bit of romance is descended from Princess Kaguya and is the only one able to destroy the demons by drawing a pair of back-to-back crescent moons on her palm, she is able to summon the mystic sword Chizakura. Sakuras Soul Symbol is "Destroy". She is engaged to Prince Aoba, who has the ability to transform into a white wolf (a curse from drinking demon blood)his soul symbol is "birth'life". Her brother Kai, know known as Enju has come to take her back and turn Sakura against the human race and all her friends.

Pokemon X and Y are coming to North America this October. I'm so excited. I am planning to have Pokemon X and start out with the fire-type it looks so cute! ^^ Anyone else thinking about purchasing Pokemon X or Y? I know I am. More to come really soon! :D
