Welcome. This world is about the Anime Conventions that I have been to. They are probably all going to be in the state that I am in [Wisconsin], but hopefully it will progress to other places.

Anime, Conventions
Thinking about my first anime convention I went to last weekend and why I had so much fun besides all the cool stuff. In my friend group, I am the otaku. The only one who obsesses over anime and loves pokemon and such. I get called a nerd and geek all of the time. I am proud to love anime as much as I do, but sometimes it really makes me upset when they call me that, even if they are joking sometimes they take it too far. But at the anime convention, man, I could be me without holding back without getting called a name. I kept apologizing to the people we hung out for being so nerdy and they looked at me like "wtf..what are you talking about". Anime conventions are the perfect places for people like me!
Wausaubicon
Wausaubicon is a new convention that is going to be held in Wausau, Wisconsin. I went to it just last weekend for their first year. It was very fun! There wasn't many people there, but enought to make it happen. This was Wausaubicon's first year, but it was also my first con. I decided to cosplay as L since I LOVE HIM and he's the easiest and cheapest. I was so excited to see other characters! I saw people dressed from Hetalia. There was a China, Britain, Italy [North], and Germany. There was a Tamaki and Kyoya from Ouran High Host Club. My sister was Near and as we walked around we discovered another L and Near. I befriended them and now they are on my facebook. :). In the vendor room there was a lady selling ears and other headwear and I bought cat ears from her. They are the cutest things ever. I also bought a lot of Ramune, Pocky, and pins. One of the pins that I got says "Yaoi & Bisho Home of the Beautiful Manga Boys" hehe.
In September I would really love to attend Geek.kon in Madison, Wisconsin but I don't think my family can swing that one because lack of a good vehicle. Hahaha. But if not Geek.kon we are probably going to go to Daishocon which is in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. :D. I have so many cosplay ideas! My sister has a Death The Kid costume so I might go as him. Otherwise my friend who I met at Wausaubicon wanted to be Tamaki and wanted me to be Haruhi, so I might see if I can do that one.
Thanks for reading my rambling about conventions. :)
