Character Comparison: Best in Class

Time for more of a situational comparison in this month’s character study: Who would be the best in school, and in what areas? Why? This one will be in the form of a ranking from lowest performers to highest. Let’s begin!

Everett (Pet Projects) – If this guy ever sat in a classroom, it would be to his teacher’s chagrin. He’ll work at things that will get him praise, but once something becomes boring or tedious, he’s done. He also hates being told what (not) to do. His strengths lie more in the athletic arena.

Kita (Eternal Rain universe) – Easily distracted and bored by sitting still, she is not a model student going by her average grades alone. She’s much better at hands-on subjects (though not home ec, as her cooking leaves a lot to be desired and she has zero patience for sewing) and athletics.

Haruko (So Distant) – Has grades in the B – C ranges, though not for lack of effort. She is diligent and earnest, but her talents lend themselves more toward the arts than practical subjects. Her best grades in the four core subjects are in language/writing.

Joel (Search for the Sky) – He is extremely practical, so he would excel at subjects like applied sciences, geometry and basic math. That doesn’t in any way mean that he’d be a slouch in his other subjects, which, though he may struggle, he would still do decently in with his stubborn grit.

Haru (Dreamer) – If he could stay in one place long enough to settle into a school, he’d be a straight-A student. He’s serious and hard-working, and he already has a goal to learn medicine. That said, his focus would be on biology, chemistry and health sciences.
