Is this how the world ends?
Is this how the world ends?
Is this how the world ends?
Not in a bang, but a whimper?
At least, that's what that one old poem says. Also, that one fire and ice thing by Robert Frost... Can't remember it though. But I've been saying that to myself for a few days at work, singing it under my breath. Can't put it to a solid tune though.
We've got mice in the attic. I can hear them from where I sit at the upstairs computer. I have faith that our cats will catch them though, when the mice come down that is. No one goes in our attic with much frequency.
So yeah, Kino's Journey. Love that series. It's what's got me on this introspective mood, just looking at Kino's Journey wallpapers. The stories are sadly beautiful. I fully recommend that anime, as well as Mushishi, which has a similar feel. Heck, so does Mononoke, to an extent. (Note: I don't mean Princess Mononoke, or Mononoke Hime. Mononoke is a completely different thing.) They're all beautiful series. I truly admire the main characters. Kino-chan is awesome and I truly look up to her. (No, Kino is not a boy, as some may assume from her tomboy clothes and attitude.) Ginko of Mushishi is attractive in a strong quiet way, and tries to handle things with a minimum of death and harm, which I admire. The medicine seller of Mononoke is extremely hot and sexy, as well as smart and powerful. He is someone I'd fawn over if I ever saw him. He is so awesome, he doesn't even need a proper name, he's just known as The(capitalized on purpose) medicine seller.
I love introspective episodic series like those. Plus, the are of Mononoke is truly beautiful. Like it was beat with the pretty stick, over and over again. Y'know, the pretty stick as opposed to the ugly stick?
See you when I see you.
