I’m back!!!! See, that wasn’t too bad, huh? LOL As promised, I’ll tell you about my trip. ^^
The drive there was fine, but once we got close to the coast, we hit rain. I thought it was going to rain the entire time…because sometimes that’s just my luck. But, I was wrong. Thankfully. We had gotten a late start anyway, so we got there and checked into our room, went out to eat, then spent the night playing poker. ^^ I had a lot of fun…even more because I was winning. *smirks* No, I’m kidding. I really just have fun hanging with my family. ^^
Oh YEAH! Completely unrelated…but I saw a stretch limo version of an old ‘33 or ‘34 Ford Coupe!! It was CRAZY…but so cool. Haha
Alright, this morning we got up super-early…well, 9 ’o clock…that’s early for me, ^^; then walked around a bit. It was so sunny and warm. I was truly surprised, but stoked because we got to take lots of pictures. Walked the pier, then stopped for an espresso. Oh yeah, had to have my coffee…being up THAT early. Now I’ll be up all night. LOL We drove down to another pier, had to pickup some seafood for my uncle, but there we got to see some sea lions. They’re always hanging out on the underside, and you can walk down and see them close. BUT, you don’t want to get THAT CLOSE…they will bite…or jump on you. ^^;
After that, we went to my shop! Mwahaha! I got me a new Zodiac Necklace! I like it a little better actually…it’s the Kanji for my year. ^^ I also got a new tea cup. It has a geisha painted on the side, and it’s perfect for my green tea…so score. :3 I was going to buy a sword there…but I decided against it. I remember now that I want to buy Vergil’s. Whew. BUT, they did have an awesome looking Handmade Blade in a display case. 235 bucks was a DEAL for it…it was gorgeous. There was even an inscription on the inner part of the blade…where the handle would cover(can’t remember the exact name now…but yeah) by the craftsman. AND, there were three different hand guards to choose from. AND a Certificate proving it’s authenticity!! It was…to drool over. :L
Ahem. Anyway. We stopped at one more point to see the ocean and take more pictures…but I made sure to steer clear of those evil birds. Sea gulls…evil…evil birds. >_<; Oh! And get this…there was a SHARK SIGHTING! I couldn’t believe that sign! Just yesterday!! LOL Itachi-sama, I found that exceedingly funny considering that thread on the beach. It was the first thing to pop into my head! We stopped at a couple more areas, I wanted to take some pictures of the surroundings for a friend of mine, then, we came home. And I have to say…I’m glad to be HOME. I love taking a break, but in all honesty, I think staying somewhere else only serves to help you APPRECIATE YOUR OWN BED. There’s just something about walking back into your house after a trip…can’t describe it. ^///^
Sooo now I’m home, and intend to get back to updating tomorrow. I hope you all have a nice weekend, and I’ll see you around!

YES!! I am going to the Coast tomorrow!! *dances a bit* I'm so happy...it's been awhile again since the last time...and I wanna see the beach so bad! :3 And so, I will not be here Friday and a good chunk of Saturday...but I will be back Saturday night. Don't think I'll do any updating at theO until Sunday though. ^^;
I can't wait to visit my favorite merchant. Swords...and japanese/chinese merchandise galore! 
I wonder if I'll be getting me another nice blade... *crosses fingers* At the very least a new fan...I should pick up a new necklace too...my zodiac necklace broke. T.T
Definitely gotta take a bunch of new piccies too...

So, I’ve had an interesting day so far…lol…but not really gonna go there. ^^; If you speak to me personally, I’m sure you’ll hear me talking about it.
Alright! To the purpose of this post!
You might know…I really don’t do the whole “Valentine’s Day” thing…I hate having someone tell me when I can tell someone I love them. Or I appreciate them…It’s like saying “Hey let’s set ONE DAY aside for WORLD PEACE!” …..
….
Okay, didn’t mean to turn that into a rant/kinda… Point is, just because I don’t personally celebrate, doesn’t mean that others don’t. And it doesn’t mean that I don’t want you all to have a good day. And so I’m saying this today:

Before I tell my answer, I will go into my thoughts on chess pieces, just since I’m on the subject.
First of all, the King. Without a King there is no Kingdom, and thus the kingdom will fall without him. This is why; lose your King, lose the game and the Kingdom falls to ruin!

I’m going to go next to the Bishop, instead of the Queen, and here is why. I view the Bishops as the King and Queen’s advisors. Thus they stand beside the King and Queen, offering their services and often being quick to a kill. I would imagine an advisor’s influence was strong, making the Bishop one of the stronger pieces on the board, and yet, the Queen is stronger yet. Why? Well, the Bishop may have the King’s attention, and may whisper in his ear, but the Queen--she holds the King’s HEART. Yes, the Queen holds EVERYTHING. This is why she holds so much power, having the ability to sway the King down to his very core.
The Rook’s(tower) are on the ends, protecting the Kingdom from outer danger with their high walls...and yet a wall can only hold back so much; making it vulnerable to attack. ((I always go for my brother’s rooks first, his favorite pieces ^^; ))
And finally, the Knight. This actually happens to be my favorite piece, because I adore Knights and also because I love their flexibility. They are a very difficult piece to catch, thanks to the L-shaped movement. I think this represents the Knights at their very core. Cunning, and fearless. They have the ability to be first to go out into battle, you can’t block a knight as long as it can move in an L; showing their bravery and defending their kingdom by charging into combat.
Finally, the Pawn. There are many, for they make up the soldiers of your kingdom. They are both your strength and weakness. While misleadingly weak, a pawn has the potential for greatness.....though at the sacrifice of many....it can still become any piece of your choice. They can be an unmatchable defense, or an impassable CAGE. Trapping your pieces into submission. Use them wisely, and NEVER underestimate them...

Alright! So now that that is out of the way…I will give you what you waited for. In all three quizzes I was given the same result. “You are the Queen”. Surprised? I was. LOL I don’t think of myself as a LEADER. ^^; Even though I love my Queen chess piece, I was still stunned.
