Hi everyone, Back from a long weekend! XD
Long...but so much fun. :) First off. The Drags. LOL....so my cousin's truck decided to blow it's transmission in the practice runs. haha we saw it coming, just didn't think it would choose right then to do it. XD It was so funny, he made it back to the pits, and that was all the racing it intended on doing! LOL Still, the races were great. There were loads of entries, and good company...so I had a terrific time. Plus, as a bonus, I ran into a friend of mine I haven't seen for 5 years!!! OMG, I missed him so much...it was really great finding him again. I found out...he lives so freakin close to me too...go figure. XD And when I say close...I mean in a FIVE MILE RADIUS. XD I kid you not... >.>
Next, The party on Saturday. THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! We got the whole family(My Dad's side)) together for a BBQ....and it was just a huge success. I'm especially thrilled since the whole thing was my idea. There are alot of bdays in August for us, so I just thought it would be a good idea to get everyone together to celebrate at once. :3 There was a huge cake, and we all sang Happy Birthday...it was so good getting everyone together. We haven't done that in ages, but afterwards I had everyone saying how we need to do it more. :) So this winter we're planning on having something my uncle calls a "four-day party"...It has to do with Pigs.. >.> Let's just say if you're portuguese you know what I'm talking about. >.<' Let's ALSO say...I'll be staying INSIDE during a good part of that one. LOL Oh, and just a bit of info...I have ALOT of cousins on my dad's side...let's see...11...12?? Something like that...hehe. And that's just my cousins...now add on their gf's....relatives...and then my aunt and uncles...their relatives...BIG PARTY lol. But, I did also find out...that of the cousins, Not only am I one of three girls...but I am also one of three that have blue eyes. haha Yeah, out of all of us, only Three have blue eyes, the rest all have DARK BROWN. Me, My Brother, and my Cousin Danny. XD ((I met his baby son too....HE has blue eyes...sooooooooo KAWAII too!!! X3))
AGGGHHH! I am rambling now cuz I should be in bed. LOL Well, just wanted to check in with the verdict. haha. I can get back to the projects I was working on now. Hopefully they'll all turn out well. ;3
