I stumbled onto this on Tumblr and thought that maybe some folks would be interested.
Manga Studio Debut 4 is on sale for today (not sure the time limit on it) for $5! It's a download only, but it comes in both Windows and Mac flavors.
For five bucks, why not?
I've heard good things about it, both from online artists and artists I know in person. If you don't need it, perhaps spread the news to someone who might?
I'd like to introduce you to a new series I thought up this afternoon while studying for a quiz on hurricanes. I'm calling it "How Do I Photoshop?", and with it, I hope to share some tips and tricks I've picked up throughout the years.
As a self-taught Photoshop user, there are a lot of things I've missed. Some are painfully obvious, others are just...things I wouldn't know. And there is the adage that there are no stupid questions, because someone else has the same question as you.
In that spirit, if you have any Photoshop questions, things you just can't figure out, feel free to drop them in this post, or any future posts. I'll be happy to answer to the best of my ability.
Anyhow, I've got my first one to work on, so expect to see that within the next couple hours.
Would anyone be interested in my reviewing of random products? Throughout the years I've accumulated a buncha stuff and can probably offer some decent insight on things. It's like this one time, I started doing an acrylic paint guide and didn't finish it and made the mistake of posting it up claiming I'd finish it but I didn't finish it 'cause I sort of have problems with finishing things.
Uh.
Long paragraph short: reviews, thoughts. Alternatively, is there something anyone is really interested in knowing more about before they make a purchase? Supplies are expensive and it really helps to know what you're getting in to.
