Good Lord
Good LORD it has been a little while! I've been very busy trying to find a part time job and launching mine and my partner's Film company "Tu Elle Films". SO! I want everyone to keep an eye out for some independent films by Kelsey Allen - she is an incredible woman, and my best friend.
Anywho - I haven't updated in a while, nor have I gotten to sit down and draw anything, but that will change shortly. I'm going to enter a couple of challenges to get me motivated. Not sure which ones I will pursue, but maybe some of you have a suggestion or two?
By the way has anyone gotten to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland or Dragons? Both were awesome, I absolutely adored them.

Nice to be Drawing Again
Well, I have officially drawn my first challenge art - it's called "At Last". It's a little fanart of Kenshin and Kaoru, my favorite anime couple.... I have to say I really miss drawing. I especially miss photoshop, but I'll get that event...First Blog....

Thanks for taking time from your life to visit my little page here and reading my introductory blog. My name is Candace. I am the creator of Art Candy - and yes, that is copyrighted ^_^ so please do not attempt to steal.
Some select few may have seen my artwork before, a long, long time ago. I used to be known as "Candizzle" around the Otaku world, but have long since given that name up.
I have been doing artwork and fan works for about as long as I can remember, as I'm sure most who are on this site have also stated. I have seen phenomenal artwork on both The Otaku and Deviant Art and I applaud any and all who try and take their art to the next level. I am still in the process of developing my own "original" style of work, and let me tell you, it is not easy. I recently got back into my art gig after being laid off. I find that doing housework and taking care of my two year old does not completely satisfy my time.
I have always been a fan of anime and manga, and even entering my twenties my love for it has not subsided. I am a complete and total nerd at heart and I will be the first to tell you so lol. I am hoping that within the next few months I will acquire another tablet (my son destroyed my last one) and another copy of Adobe Photoshop (it was deleted when my younger brother tried to "fix" my computer). For now, all I have is some old artwork, but I hope that you all will write kind things about them to jump start my motivation.
As of yet I am not accepting requests, but as soon as I am able to I will let you know when they are welcome. Thanks for reading.
