Refilling Copic Markers (updated!)

Hey! MangaKid here :D
Alright so some of you, who use Copic markers like me, might find this helpful. As you probably know, you can refill your Copic markers when they run out of ink! It saves a lot of money then having to go buy new markers. A bottle of ink will refill your copics 7-13 times depending on the type you have. Ciao markers such as these can be refilled the most times since they don't hold as much ink as the others so they run out faster. Visit this page for more info on ink bottles and markers: CLICK HERE
You should be able to buy ink anywhere, online or at an art store. Make sure you buy the right colour of ink to match the marker you need to refill. Also, all inks work with all types of Copic markers, they just refill more or less times.

Edit: How do you know your Copics are dry and need refills? They will start streaking on your paper and the ink might even start getting darker over time. Also the tips will start looking white and dried out.

Please watch the video below to find out a method of refill. (I DID NOT MAKE THIS VIDEO. I do not own this video. Give credit to the video creator). I usually refill my copic markers this way, but I ALWAYS uncap both sides. I've never had the ink drip out the other side and usually I can tell how wet it's getting by just looking at the brush tip. I only leave the lids off until I'm done filling it up. And it doesn't matter which way you store your copic marker after that. Sometimes I like to tilt it the way so that the ink will flow to the brush tip a bit better, but I honestly don't think it makes a difference.
By the way, you drip the ink down the broad tip with the brush tip pointing downwards like in the video. Sometimes I do put a couple drops of ink on my brush tip as well, but its not necessary. (see underneath the video for more info). I'm definitely not a pro at this xD and its alright to experiment to find the way that works for you! Please feel free to ask me questions though^^

Edit: Okay, today I refilled one of my driest grey markers. If you ever use a marker until its almost dry, then you'll have to spend more time dripping ink onto the broad tip. And afterwards, you may try it out and find that the brush tip on the opposite end is still dry! Why? Because its so dry that the brush tip can start hardening from the ink. What you need to do it just scribble on any type of paper to get the ink running down and clear off the dryness. As for how many ink drips will fill a marker, thats up to you. I used to count 30 drips while refilling my markers, but now I just drip until the brush tip looks wet.

Here is another method of refilling your markers. I think I should try this way sometime! I never have, but I believe this way works a lot faster then the way above:

(What the girl is talking about at the end of the video is how to make your own colours by using ink and an empty marker. I have never done this before.)
