Song For Dark Delicacies

Eye For an Eyelash

Hammurabi said
way back in the day
revenge for the dead
should be the way

but dead men tel no tales
even if theyre unborn
mothers without veils
a white dress unworn

Who's to make the call
and say it want right
to let her end it all
before she had to fight

Poverty, or you and me
brother's baby, and guilt you see
She'd suicide if we let her be
who died and made you king?

Wrong or Right, who gives a damn
that's just what they'll do
condemn, tar, and feather you
They claim it's in His plan.

one god fear stricken overnment
morals, don't know where they went
The rapture's on its way
Well see who will stay

Who's to make the call
and say it want right
to let her end it all
before she had to fight

Poverty, or you and me
brother's baby, and guilt you see
She'd suicide if we let her be
who died and made you king?
