I'm still alive, but my home town has just had what is being called an "inland tsunami." Cars flipped, 7 people confirmed dead and 10+ missing.
I'm out in the yard digging trenches and putting up some barriers to stop the water from getting the house.
We've been really really lucky so far.
Shame about the weather report; more rain than we've had, for the rest of the week.
