The oceans swell and roar as my bare feet kick the sand.
I’m in a swirling mist upon a broken land.
I hear the waves as they splash the shore,
Disturbing the night and clammy aura,
Flecks of water hit my face and it feels as if I’m in a hard won race,
There is no life in this night,
That could slow my pace or fix my wrongs right.
I reach a cliff and then look down,
The water is only a whisper of sound
I close my eyes and turn my back,
On the waters swirling black,
My feet dig into the soil and sand,
Before I kick off and let go of the land.
I feel the wind bite my skin,
But down I fall and,
Like a rock I sink,
The cold water fills my lungs,
And the air is chocked from my throat,
The water swallows me up,
I can not move as the water pulls me down.
