Tissington Hall
This hall is an amazing and old place. It's located in the quiet and tiny village of Tissington. I used to visit when I was a little girl and it's lovely.
The hall itself was built in the 17th century and the FitzHerbert family has lived there for eight generations.
It has a lot of history and, for those who believe in such things, ghosts. One of the family died as a young girl due to accidentally setting herself on fire with a candle during the night. She is said to haunt the halls among other ghosts. It has even been feature on shows such as Most Haunted. (Not that I like that show, but it was great to see the hall.)
Weddings here are quite expensive compared to most venues at £6900.
