I love him,
It's plain to see,
To marry him,
His bride I'd be.
We meet as kids,
Even though we were so young,
Love appeared,

My tears started to fall,
Along with the sudden rain.
The heavens were weeping,

Again the stranger tried to help.
Inviting me to his dwelling,
And fixing me a warm drink,
Did nothing to ease my heart's swelling.
The only other clue,
A childhood snapshot,
I gave to him,
With eyes bloodshot.
He looked at it for a long moment.
First on his features to show,
Worry for the lack of information,
But the photo had more to bestow.
Looking again,
His eyes went wide.
He recognized the two.
This broke his stride.
"This is me and Aoi-chan!"
He exclaimed surprised!
I could not believe my hearing,
And my unwilling hopes would rise.
"Are you Kaoru-sama?!"
I asked aghast.
Floods of hope, love, fear, memories,
Rushed from the past.
My heart felt as though,
With one word it'd be crushed.
An eternity passed
In air that was hushed.
"Yeah. I'm Kaoru Hanabishi."
My relief was vast as the sea.
Pouring out without permission,
The tears showed my love for thee.
He was needing an explanation.
To regain my composure was a strife.
"In short, I Aoi Sakuraba,
Have come with the intentions of becoming you wife."
