College: THE RETURN
So in the past 65-ish hours that I've been back at school I've managed to:
- Figure out my schedule:
- MTWRF 12:10-1:00 Chinese (TWR 5:10-6:00 Chinese AT)
- MWF 9:10-10:00 Quest for Justice
- TR 9:40-11:00 Making of the Contemporary World (History)
- T 7:00-10:00PM Ethnography of Japan
- Watched Totoro during my Japan seminar. (There are people in that class who know way more about Japan than even I do! GEEKS! KIMOCHI WARUI!!)
- Got re-adjusted to my regular routine of sleeping less than 6hrs/night. :((
- Cried in front of DHB over lifestuff (AGAIN aghfghsdWHY AM I SO WEAK)
- Lifestuff that I'm going to have to try to get sorted out right after I finish writing this post. :((
THIS IS BALLS. WHY I NO SLEEP. :'(((
Belated xmas shopping & new hairstyle?!?
1.) The good thing about buying gifts for college friends is that you can buy them post-xmas when there are all the sales! FUFUFUFU.
Though this was my first time xmas shopping for real (as in, for more than just a couple people & using money I somehow obtained rather than having my parents pay for everything). And even though I usually like giving presents as much as receiving... I spent so much money! Eff my friends, I could've spent that on clothes. It's not like I have an income!! ;_________________;
2.) I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow! And I'm really sick and tired of going to local places with specific requests and coming out disappointed, so this time I did my research! I searched for cheap, but good hair salons, and this one in Bucktown came out the winner. Hey, even if the cut doesn't turn out right, at least they'll give me free candy. And beer! :3
I want the back layering of the first pic, front layering of the second, and the bangs of the third.
So yeah. I'm going to go spend the next few hours beading a bracelet as another xmas gift to a friend kbai. ._.;

Random shit:
- Look Mommy, I did something other than nothing today!!
- I met up with some old classmates last Friday, which was actually really nice.
- I got a new cell last week and it's finally, finally A KOREAN PHONE. HIS NAME SHALL BE CHOI LEE WOOK. AHHH HE'S MY LOVER.
- I went to Mitsuwa yesterday for the first time in MONTHS and OH MY GOD. It was like coming home again. I ate dango for the first time (which actually wasn't as great or as colorful!! as I was expecting it to be). Some other firsts were okonomiyaki, curry pan, and a Nerds-sized, Pocky-esque snack called Walky Walky that I've been popping in my mouth like a new mother does aspirin. LIKE CAFFEINATED JELLYBEANS DURING FINALS WEEK.

AND I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT I HAVE A URINARY TRACT INFECTION. MY PEE LOOKS LIKE CRANBERRY JUICE.
I'M FALLING APART.
EDIT: AND MY MOM JUST TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD BE DRINKING CRANBERRY JUICE. HOW IRONIC.

I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM EATING TOO MANY MUSSELS ON XMAS EVE, SO I SPENT ALL OF YESTERDAY SLEEPING, EATING CRACKERS AND VOMITING IN MY UNCLE'S BATHROOM!!!!! :D :D :D :D
