Playing ever17 COCO'S ROUTE and ran into the first big plot twist. I'm freakin out!!!! And it's funny because it's the type of plot twist where, when I look back on it, I feel like I should've been able to figure it out, lol.
btw, if there are people who played 999 and really liked the premise of that story, you miiight like ever17. It's fairly similar, except the execution of the story is better & more interesting in this game. The only thing is that ever17 is a proper visual novel, so it takes foreverrrrr to get through the whole thing. I'm a slow reader, so I don't even know how many hours I've clocked into this.
Other stuff:
Firstly, this is random, but if you regularly watch videos on TED.com, you should check out this viral marketing trailer for the upcoming movie Prometheus. Pretty clever, I think. :3

Oh, Big Bang, how I've missed you. They've finally released a real music video in their recent onslaught of media, and the more I watch it, the more I love it, gaudy and crazy and blatantly sexual as it is. I'm glad that Big Bang is back and that I've finally gotten used to their new style... because to be honest, I haven't paid much attention to them since 2008. *cough* (But then again, I didn't pay much attention to K-Pop at all for a couple years, SO.)
Third, the recent JYJ sasaeng scandal is highly unfortunate, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't bothered by Jaejoong's actions in particular. But in the end, I can't bring myself to blame the boys so much as this system that allows sasaeng fans to stalk their whole lives. (Literally.)
And lastly, KONY 2012. Yeah, I hopped that bandwagon.
EDIT: omg I just found out that I'm gonna have the house to myself for the next couple days. Time to crack open the ice wine and blast Fantastic Baby on the speakers for the next 48 hours. :P

Back in Chicago. In the middle of playing ever17. JET interview last weekend went fairly well, and I have a final interview with City Year this Wednesday. Senior Exercise is done. 8 weeks of college left after break.
Life is good. :)
Jitters.
My interview with the JET program is tomorrow morning. Judging from what I've heard about how tough these interviews can get, I fear my heart might implode from stress in the middle of mine.

I'm playing the Togainu no Chi English patch
AFTER 5 YEARS OF WANTING TO PLAY THIS GAME, IT'S FINALLY MINNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE.
Well, partially at least. I played through all of Keisuke's route. (His bad ends made me rofl.) Currently playing through Motomi's route, which has been fun enough so far. When Shiki's patch is released, I fear my head will explode from sheer, orgasmic excitement. @_@
What makes it even better is that the game has kind of piqued the interest of one of my gay friends, and so every so often, he will provide commentary.
Me: He's reacting that way because Akira's blood got on his cheek.
Him: What, and there was no blood when he shoved a *********** up Akira's ***?
Me: I guess he's flexible?
Him: I don't care how flexible he is, *********** are huge, there's no way he wouldn't-
Me: It's a yaoi game, get over it.
So yeah. My senior exercise is due tomorrow, so I should probably get to that. LOL
