• I am definitely liking the wheel. Of course I only say this after I've finally gotten the hang of it, but yeah. Lots of fun once you generally know what you're doing. Though my mother is now demanding that I make her a porcelain bowl. And she wants it to be cereal bowl-sized. LOL WHO IS SHE KIDDING.
• Just want to share a scenic picture I took while wandering around downtown last summer:

  

  I wanted to make a contrast between the standard "urban" image and those fantastical gardens they have sprouting out from the sidewalks of Michigan Ave, though I think the effect was mostly lost since the backdrop didn't look "city" enough in that moment. Still like the pic though.

• Ummm apparently I am not artsy enough to make a whole post about art, so I'm switching to ACen now. I only just registered last week. 8D;;

  And while looking at the website today, I realized that the Hollywood Bowl concert falls on the Saturday of the con. So I guess in some ways, it's a good thing that I'm not planning on seeing my boys. :3
