As the title implies, I created this just for fun. ^_^ I mainly intend to use this as a means to jot down whatever comes to mind, and (provided that I feel like it) put down some stuff on history. I'll try not to be too judgemental about topics that tend to be extremely sensitive like politics. (No, no, scratch that--especially politics.)
As a side note, I'm also going to start using this as a means to announce when I have updated my story Tides of Fate or anything else related to it.
For those wondering what I look like, here's a picture!
(Surprised that I'm still not showing my real face? Too bad! >D *evil laughter*)
Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day!
(Mouthfull of a title, right? XD ) A little habit that I've gotten into since I started college is keeping an eye on how strong our ever-weakening dollar is in the face of other markets, namely the Japanese one. I've recently added the British Pound and the Chinese Yuan to the mix, and I'm quite pleased to inform y'all that we're not doing too badly (depending on how you look at it).
The reason why I mention this now is because I want to show y'all what I mean once a week, every week from now on via graphs I make throughout the week. It's definitely not professional stuff, but it has enough info to give y'all a glimpse of what's going on with our dollar in the face of other markets. If you guys think it's a good idea then let me know! Otherwise, I'll just drop the idea altogether.
Alright, now the actual graph takes figures that were obtained around 5 o'clock, mountain time, and what was shown during the work-week. Enjoy!
Have a nice day! ^_^
Okay, first of all: Sorry everyone! ^^; Over the past week I've been preoccupied with stuff that's been going on around home and school, so I haven't been able to do much on theO as of late. I wish I could say that this would end soon, but events around campus--courtesy of how close it is to Easter and Fiesta--have only been speeding up with no break in sight. I won't make any promises about coming on whenever I do find some free-time, so I'll just leave this post off on a "See y'all later!" and be done with it (complete with random picture).
See y'all later! ^_^
(Oh, and if any of you do have some questions as to what this picture is or why on earth I posted this, you'll just have to ask! *laughs* XD)
Cosidering that we're in Spring, I figured it was time to change the old avatar again. When I was working on this one in its orginal size (which was huge compared to its 100x100 pixel representation) it looked spectacular to me. Now...well, I think I'll give this one a shot anyway. If I like it, I'll keep it on for a while. If not, then I'll just go back to using one of the first avatars I created. Regardless of that though, let me know what y'all think of it! ^_^
Have a great day everybody! ^_^
Oh my gosh-oh my gosh-oh my gosh!!! OwO!!!
I was checking my portfolio a while ago and I just now find out that one of my World Posts has actually been published here on the site! Coincidently, it's also my longest post to date (when I drafted it on Word, usuing the basic format theO asks for, it came out to 13-14 pages long). I'm so proud of myself. X3 (Too bad, when I was re-reading it again it had two grammatical errors! >_< Crackerbarrels!)
The story itself may be a little confusing for those who aren't familiar with Sojirem's Organizaiton NGC world, so I'll leave this as a bit of a guideline into the main character and the scenario:
-Xakiah (my OC for that world) is a Nobody who's also a professionally trained assassin with a negative disposition
-she comes from the same world Merlin does
-timeframe: ten years after Sora and his friends destroyed Organization XIII (and ten years after another event, but I won't spoil the story here)
-Xakiah has recently joined the newer version of Organization XIII
-she and three others (who will be named in the story) was sent on a mission to gather information on a mishap that was detected in another world
And that's all she wrote! XD (*is shot for making bad pun*) Later y'all! ^_^
So today the choir that I'm in at the University is having a concert tonight, right? I've been singing for so long that I don't feel nervous at all when it comes to performance but tonight is definitely going to be a little different. Tonight I'll be singing a solo in one of the songs we're doing.
Wah, I'm so freaking nervous!!! >_<
It really does suck being your own worst critic; people tell me that I'm good and part of me believes them, but then there's that other part that screams "fail!" (Then there's that other part that screams "weeeeeeeeee" because I have a lot of fun singing, but that's another story.) Then again, a lot of the people that I've talked to have told me that they're supporting me all the way, so I guess I don't have too much to worry about.
Wish me luck tonight! Later! ^_^
