As the title implies, I created this just for fun. ^_^ I mainly intend to use this as a means to jot down whatever comes to mind, and (provided that I feel like it) put down some stuff on history. I'll try not to be too judgemental about topics that tend to be extremely sensitive like politics. (No, no, scratch that--especially politics.)
As a side note, I'm also going to start using this as a means to announce when I have updated my story Tides of Fate or anything else related to it.
For those wondering what I look like, here's a picture!
(Surprised that I'm still not showing my real face? Too bad! >D *evil laughter*)
Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day!
I won't apologize about bringing up this post until now because I don't feel any guilt about putting it off! XD
About a month or so ago I changed my avatar yet again in spirit of Valentine's Day. I also decided to do it to play around with two different images and putting them together to create a different image. I'll continue to have this avatar for a while, but I'm considering whipping up a new one sometime soon. (Don't hold your breath though! XD ) On a final note, the quote that I have above the actual image, Amor vincit omnia, is Latin for "love conquers all."
One more thing:
While I was surfing around theO I found out that I've been promoted to Otaku++. Yay me! ^_^
Okay, so I tried submitting the latest in the Valentine Wars and guess what? (Too late.) It wouldn't submit. >_< I've only tried it twice, mind you, but both times I tried it said that I could only submit three cards per day. Get this: I haven't submitted anything today. >_< So for anyone expecting anything, it'll definitely come tomorrow. To make up for it, I think I'll try submitting a wallpaper. It won't be much, but it's worth a shot.
In other news, I checked my portfolio recently and found that I have a ruby trophy in eCards. Yay!!! X3 (*does the happy dance*)
For those of you following my latest string of eCards, I'm sorry to inform you that I won't be posting any today. -_-; My reason: too many things going on today.
So, in the meantime, I'll just post this really cool picture of Moka (whose original version comes off of animeblogger.net) instead. Enjoy! ^_^
Here's something that was given to us (my classmates and I) by our Theology professor via the Internet. I think y'all might like it. (I know I did! ^_^)
"How to Write a College Paper
1. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a well lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
2. Read over the assignment carefully, to make certain you understand it.
3. Walk down to the vending machines and buy some coffee to help you concentrate.
4. Stop off at the third floor, on the way back and visit with your friend from class. If your friend hasn't started the paper yet either, you can both walk to McDonalds and buy a hamburger to help you concentrate. If your friend shows you his paper, typed, double-spaced,and bound in one of those irritating see-thru plastic folders, drop him.
5. When you get back to your room, sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
6. Read over the assignment again to make absolutely certain you understand it.
7. You know, you haven't written to that kid you met at camp since fourth grade. You'd better write that letter now and get it out of the way so you can concentrate.
8. Go look at your teeth in the bathroom mirror.
9. Listen to one of your favorite CDs and that's it, I mean it, as soon as it's over you are going to start that paper.
10. Rearrange all of your CDs into alphabetical order.
11. Phone your friend on the third floor and ask if he's started writing yet. Exchange derogatory remarks about your teacher, the course, the university, and the world at large.
12. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
13. Read over the assignment again; roll the words across your tongue; savor its special flavor.
14. Check the newspaper listings to make sure you aren't missing something truly worthwhile on TV. NOTE: When you have a paper due in less than 12 hours, anything on TV from Masterpiece Theater to Sgt. Preston of the Yukon is truly worthwhile, with these exceptions: a) Pro Bowler's Tour b) any movie starring Don Ameche.
15. Catch the last hour of Soul Brother of Kung Fu on channel 26.
16. Phone your friend on the third floor to see if he was watching. Discuss the finer points of the plot.
17. Go look at your tongue in the bathroom mirror.
18. Look through your roommate's book of pictures from home. Ask who everyone is.
19. Sit down and do some serious thinking about your plans for the future.
20. Open your door and check to see if there are any mysterious trench-coated strangers lurking in the hall.
21. Sit in a straight, comfortable chair in a clean, well lighted place with plenty of freshly sharpened pencils.
22. Read over the assignment one more time, just for the hell of it.
23. Scoot your chair across the room to the window and watch the sunrise.
This is one that one of my buddies in college showed me recently, and I've been having this crazy grin on my face since! What is it about you might ask? Well...the only hint I'll give is that is has something to do with ninjas (of the non-Naruto world veriety). Sit back, relax, and let the few seconds of randomness take over! XD (Is it obvious that I'm in a hyper mood right now? owo)
