As the title implies, I created this just for fun. ^_^ I mainly intend to use this as a means to jot down whatever comes to mind, and (provided that I feel like it) put down some stuff on history. I'll try not to be too judgemental about topics that tend to be extremely sensitive like politics. (No, no, scratch that--especially politics.)
As a side note, I'm also going to start using this as a means to announce when I have updated my story Tides of Fate or anything else related to it.

Last Sunday I helped my sister, Aduro, burn a CD for a classmate of hers. One CD that I ended up burning to my laptop that I never thought possible to begin with was Pokemon X: Ten Years of Pokemon. You read it right folks: Pokemon. By all means, this isn't a bad thing. This just falls into the catagory of "I must've been smoking something at that time" (or whatever humorus comment you will). And wouldn't you know it? It's actually a good CD. Even as I type this, I'm chuckling to "Team Rocket's Rockin'" and even singing along with it.

Well, at first I decided to take things slow. That was...what?...two weeks ago? Result: I like him as a friend. Seriously, I am a little disappointed in myself. Shoot--he's the first guy who's sincerly confronted me to ask me out for crying out loud! To my reasoning though, if I can't see him as anything more than a friend what's the use of pretending otherwise?
I told him yesterday how I felt. That was probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, especially since I know how it feels to be rejected. (Ugh...NOT fun...) He didn't talk to me for the rest of the day, but thanked me for being honest. Today, however, he decided to confront me about it. And no, he wasn't angry; but he sure did make me feel horrible about myself (and made me miss lunch, dangit! >_< ). In the end though I think we'll still be friends. I just hope he doesn't try bringing this up in the future...especially if I do come across someone that I would absolutely fall for.
Okay, so I finally got around to writing some more of the first chapter. (*does a victory dance*) Here's the catch: I only just got finished with the second part. (*anime drop* Ugh...I'm my own kill-joy... >_< ) So here's what I want to ask y'all, the folks that have been following the story so far: Do y'all want me to post that new section up, or wait for me to (eventually) finishing off the chapter? I'm leaving the exectutive decision to y'all.
Anyway, in other news, I finally got my flu vaccination today. Considering how freaking terrified I am of needles, I was really hoping that the flu mist would be available at the church I got this vaccination. I was even assured by my grandmother that they would have it today. You know what they, the nurses, said? (*chuckles*) "The flu mist is on back-order right now. We only have the flu shot right now." (*chuckles while crying*) So...after one embarrisingly dramatic scene befitting a soap opera...the nurse finally managed to get the needle in my arm. To my amasement, the needle didn't hurt nearly as much as ones I've gotten in the past. The moral of this story: Pavlov was on to something when he conducted that stupid experiment. (And I'll leave it at that.) >_< On the other hand, I'm actually glad that I did have this shot today. Providing that the next nurse I visit is as good as the one I had today, the vaccine for the H1H1 virus should be a snap. (Not that it would prevent me from getting the mist anyway though. I still prefer that over the needle. TTwTT )
For about two/three weeks now, I guy that I know at school has been giving off vibes that he's crushing on me. I didn't want to jump to any conclusions, so I didn't say anything. Today (*chuckles nervously)--get this--he finally up and admits that he likes me and that he's interested in taking me out. ...I seriously don't know what to do from here. I do like him...hec! I even think he's kinda cute...but I don't know how to respond to this. Sure, I actually have been asked out a few times in the past, but none of those times were serious (at least I think so). On top of that, I don't feel like I know him well enough yet to make any decisions.
...is there a councelor in the house?
Hey there again y'all! I know it's a day late, but better that than just dropping off the face of the earth, right? ^_~
Anyway, yesterday was the official start of school--for everybody else other than myself of course. For those curious, school's been going okay. It's even better now that my work-study has officially been started. Sure, I suppose it sucks having to be at school longer because of it, but I'm not complaining because everything I earn while there goes directly into my tuition. Aduro, who is one of the ones that started yesterday, seems to be doing rather well. Not that she's said much other than the usual (cooking, classmates driving her crazy, etc.).
On another note, my laptop got infected with a virus last Saturday. Fun. TT_TT What was even more fun was that my harddrive had to get wiped out in order to get my laptop operational again. The silver lining in all of this is that now my laptop works faster than it has in a while and most of the files I had before were saved on a USB drive prior to that moment. (Total loss: maybe 5%, and all of it recent but otherwise unimportant stuff. ^_^ Still wouldn't mind for the person who developed that *beep*ing virus burns in hell anyway. TTwTT )
Oh! And I've been summoned for jury duty. This is actually my second time. I wish I could tell y'all what it was like the first time, but I was exempt the first time because my family had already made arrangements for my sister and I to be out of the state during the processions. I don't this second attempt's going to work either. You know why? I'm an active college student. XD
