Three Princes~ All-Day Fun Marathon

A slight shuffling is in my ear, the rustling of leaves or maybe someone in the house. My eyes snap open and I search the dark room with my eyes, looking for a burglar who would dare break into this house and this room. I hear another noise by the dresser. What would a burglar want over there? Maybe my jewelry box! I jump onto the burglar’s back and hold on tight.

I hear a loud oomph like I knocked the wind out of him; obviously it must be a guy with a body this… muscular. He is falling backward now, but I crawl around to his front side and flip on the light before we are completely on the ground. I’m pinning him down with my hand on his arms and my legs wrapped around his lower torso. With the light illuminating his face I can see the bewildered expression of Sho! I bet I look just as surprised as him.

“Bad dream?” Sho asks me that at looks concerned. Why would he be worried about me when he's the one who might be hurt? I remember that I’m holding him down and stumble to get up but trip on the lamp’s cord and fall right back on top of him. “Ouch, I’m sorry Sho. I thought you were a burglar,” I say as I start to get up. My door bangs open.

Jake and Adam stand in the doorway stunned, “Umm I heard a crash,” Adam starts to say then mumbles as he looks away, blushing fiercely. Jake has one hand on his face as if to cover his eyes but is peeking through anyway. I stare at the boys wondering why they are so embarrassed.

“Sorry to interrupt you,” Adam says and starts to back away from me. “Wait! What are you talking about?” I ask and try to get up then notice Sho is under me. For the first time I notice he is only wearing boxer shorts. “I was trying to get dressed while you were asleep,” Sho mumbled and quickly got up and left the room with his clothes in his arms, mumbling about something or another while blushing. My hands are on my hips, you must see each other half-naked often why are you two so embarrassed, especially you Jake?” I ask hesitantly.

Jake opens his mouth to say something but nothing comes out of his mouth he just looks away and points at me. I look down and remember what I wear to bed since my clothes aren’t here yet, just Sho’s t-shirt. I’m just glad it’s a longer one that covers my butt or this would have been even more embarrassing. I dive onto the bed and under the covers, I guess Jake and Adam take that as their cue to leave and they walk away, down the stairs to pester Sho.

I try to picture what we looked like to them, let’s see. I was pinning him down in only a t-shirt and Sho was under me in boxers… OH SNAP! That does look a bit perverted. I glance at the clock by Sho’s bed and see it’s only four AM ugh. I know I won’t be able to fall asleep so I just flop onto the pillow but as soon as my head touches the pillow I fall asleep.

That morning at breakfast Adam made blueberry pancakes and Sho makes the orange juice. We all eat in awkward silence until I try a pathetic attempt at starting a conversation. “So, what are we gonna do today?” I ask not looking up from my plate.

Nobody says a word so I look up, under my fringe that is now a bit too long. Adam looks at Jake and Jake looks right back they both smile a bit and Sho glances between the two then sighs. “Don’t do it,” Sho says like he can read Jake and Adam’s minds. The two boys obviously ignore Sho and say in perfect sync, “We are going to have an all-day fun marathon!” I look between the two boys wondering what they mean.

“First we are going to a movie,” Jake says, he jumps up and grabs my hand, pulling me to the staircase, “I’ll help you get dressed.”

I smile and say, “Sure why not.” Sho drops his utensils, Adam drops his plate and, Jake stops in his tracks. He spins and smiles at me tugging me to move faster. I pull my hand out of his, “Just kidding,” and stick my tongue out at him.

I walk up to my-Sho’s room and Start getting ready. Turns out that some of my clothes came in today so I can finally wear something feminine. I choose a goth-loli themed outfit, one of my favorites, and walked downstairs. Adam is the first to see me; he looks happy but weird… Maybe this outfit isn’t right for me after all. “Wow,” Jake exclaims, “that outfit is really cute!” I can feel a blush on my cheeks and glance down at my outfit. I’m wearing a kitty ears hat; it’s black, and I have on a tank-top sweater that is striped red and black with a white skull and bones on the front. My short shorts are white and my sweater covers about half of it. I also have black thigh-high socks on with knee high white boots on; I think I look alright but not cute.

Jake is too flirty, he would probably say that to any girl that gave him a second glance. But what girl wouldn’t look twice at him? He is smoking hot. Jake takes my hand and kisses it then leads me to the car. I didn’t even know they had a car. Where in the world could they hide a Mustang like this? “We have a garage out back,” Jake says as he opens my door for me. “How-,”

“You are very obvious I can read your face like a book,” Jake chuckled. “Sho and Adam are getting dressed now; just wait a minute for them. Or do you want to go with me?” I giggled and told him I wanted to go with everyone, geez he is a player.

Adam comes out first in a pair of jeans and a dressy-ish shirt. It’s blue with yellow stripes, not bright yellow but soft like the sunset. Then Sho walks out while I’m still drooling over Adam, he locks the door and starts walking towards the car. Sho has on black jeans and a button-up shirt that has skulls and crosses on it. Just a few necklaces are draped over his neck casually, wow. If I could stop time I would go over and hug Sho and all his hotness.

Everyone gets in the car and we drive off to the movie theater. Jake escorts me to my seat in the center of the theater, and sits on my right side. Until now I didn’t really notice what he was wearing, heck I didn’t even know he changed out of his pajamas.

He is wearing a button-up shirt that has the first couple buttons undone; it’s red like a rose with dark lines in random spots. He is also wearing a pair of jeans just a regular blue pair, kind of dark blue but still blue. “Sho is getting the popcorn and candy, he’ll be here in a bit,” Adam says as he sits on my left side.

I wonder what kind of movie it is I didn’t really bother to look it up but I think it’s a horror movie… oh great. Someone walks into the theater with two large popcorns, two large drinks, five candy packs, and one nacho bowl. I gasp at all the food and the threatening possibility of it all dropping, how in the world can one person carry all this. The person I assume is Sho comes into our isle and site right next to Adam.

Adam chuckles at all the food and starts to pass out the food. A nacho bowl for Adam, a popcorn for Jake and me, a popcorn for Adam and Sho, a large Sprite for Jake and me, a large orange soda for Sho and Adam, and the candy was passed out so everyone got one except Sho got two. I guess he must have a sweet tooth.

The movie starts it’s about a girl who is all alone in her city full of zombie creatures and at night they come out to prey on the animals that run in her city. I think it’s called She is Legend or something like that, I scream at most parts of the movie and cry at the end when the girl dies saving a man and his daughter.

Both my hands are being held one by Adam and one by Jake. They are holding on tight but not too tight just tight enough so I’m not so scared anymore. I feel better knowing my friends or whatever they are, are here with me.

At the end of the movie some girl gets up to throw away her drink, somehow she ends up tripping and spilling the drink all over my clothes. “Ohmigod! I am like, so sorry! Here let me help you clean that up,” the girl says as she drags me into the bathroom.

As I clean my shorts with paper towels and water she turns to face me with a scowl on her face. “Which one of them is your boyfriend?” she asks me, “You seriously can’t be dating all three of those hotties.” I gape at her and cannot believe that she almost ruined my outfit just to ask me that stupid question.

Is she serious? I stand stunned for a moment but when she starts to tap her foot I snap out of it and answer her, “So what if I am? This isn’t any of your business so please leave me alone,” I say just as I finish cleaning my shorts.

I start to leave when she grabs me by the hair and flings me against the door yelling, “Oh you probably just hired some hosts on a date to make you look good! You’re just a-,” someone was trying to get into the restroom and they were pushing against the door. “It’s occupied!” the girl yelled just as the door was forced open, knocking this girl and me to the ground.

A hand reached inside the door, grabbing me by the wrist and yanking me out of the bathroom and away from the girl. My savior lets go of my hand and I spin to see a boy no older than 13 standing in front of me. His arms are crossed and he stands there as if to threaten me but he really looks so cute almost like he is pouting. “Thank you so much,” I say as I look down to his eye level. He is a bit shorter than me, probably by three inches or so. “How could I ever repay you?” I ask him as I blush in embarrassment of being saved by a kid. He looks like a young kid yet he is all alone here, he has blonde hair that reaches to his nose and practically covers his bronze eyes. “Is there something on my face?” He asks as he rubs his face. I was staring at him, now I feel even more embarrassed then before. “No, nothing’s on your face, sorry,” I sputter.

“I knew you would get into some sort of trouble,” Adam says as he casually walks up beside me. I give him a playful shove, “Adam this is-,” I stop and realize I don’t even know what this boy’s name is. “Nate,” he says smiling briefly at me then looking suspiciously at Adam. “Nice to meet you Nate,” Adam says without missing a beat and tussles the kid’s blonde hair a bit.

Nate pushes away Adam’s hand away and looks mad, “I’m not a kid you know!” Nate scolds. Nate turns to face me, “If you really want to pay me back for my help earlier you can help me find my way to Longerdale Street. I’m going to a friend’s house but got lost on the way,” Nate explains as he smiles sweetly. “That’s the street we live on,” I blurt out, “Why don’t you come over for lunch as repayment?” I ask hopefully. I give him what I hope is a friendly smile.

Then I glance at Adam with puppy dog eyes, silently asking if the boy can come over. Adam nods just as his phone rings. I grab Nate’s hand and start walking him to our car. Jake and Adam join us at the car but Sho isn’t with them. The movie must have ended by now, so where is Sho?

“He went to grab some stuff from the store,” Jake said as if he could read my mind. Redness is tickling my cheeks but I ignore it. Adam drives and Jake is sitting in the front seat, I get to sit beside Nate. Once we get to the house-no our house we continue the all-day fun marathon.
