I looked warily at the girl who had said her name was Kyoka. Why was she talking to me, what did she want? "I hope we can be friends, Miyo-chan!" I beamed. "Now, let's get you all unpacked in your room. What's your number?"
Miyo-chan? No one had ever called me that, she had to be up to something. I decided to just wait and see what she’d do for now. “Uhm, room 24, on the third floor,” I told her, looking at my schedule.
“Let’s go!” she smiled, a proper ‘I just want to help’ smile. I followed her as she walked up the stairs. “So, you’re a freshman?” she looked back at me and I nodded. “Cool, I’m a senior.” Oh, here’s your room,” she stopped in front of a door.
I opened the door, and stepped back for Kyoka to go in first. She placed my bag on the floor, and I walked in behind her. “Thank you Kyoka-sempai,” I bowed, I had been raised to show proper respect to your elders. “I’ll take it from here if you want.” I didn’t really want her to see what I had packed. I glanced at my bag that had my partner in it.
“I’d be happy to help,” she grinned. All of a sudden, my bag started to move. It ripped open, and Kuna, my cat and partner walked out. I was supposed to leave her at home, but I never went anywhere without her. She was my only friend.
“Mmm, it was so stuffy in there,” she stretched and licked her paw.
“You didn’t have to ruin it!” I cried looking at what was left of my bag.
“Sorry! It was fun though!” she laughed.
