Its hard to continue this with the show over sadly.
I was thinking of making side story but i'm not sure.
Possibly also adding more liberation form other animes...

The continuation of the anime is entitled GAIDEN Boukoku no Akito, “The Ruined Land of Akito.”
Sadly there will be an all new cast :( Im not sure i will love them all the same as the original.
