saw this and decided to share it because of how many girls we see growing up with the stress of trying to look like "the beautiful people" on the front of magazines and then calling themselves ugly when they find they can't "measure up".
So yeah, don't ever let those pictures on the tabloids set the standard of what's "beautiful" for you, because chances are it's not even real, and underneath all that expensive makeup, plastic surgery, and photography magic, a lot of those "beautiful people" look just like the rest of us.
And that doesn't mean that they're ugly, it means we're beautiful too :)
My notifications keep saying I have a message when I don't.
I HAD a subscription message in my inbox but I deleted it last night, now despite said inbox's emptiness, it still tells me there's one in there...

dang...taking a lot to vent this, I got a bunch of my art Jacked (a.k.a. STOLEN ) on deviantART...so freakin pissed off, it's taking every fiber of my being to not go a verbally rip the offender a new one...but my rational side knows that really that will solve nothing and I believe can actually get ME reported.
they even claimed my Misha (a.k.a. Lance) as their own! D< THATS. MY. BABY. !!! lol
not to mention they took a picture I drew for a friend of HER OC.
I'm really antsy for a response to all the reports I filed (reported the entire gallery because it's ALL my work) but I know with such a huge sight that gets so many similar reports in a day, it could take a while to see any action >( *sits and steams*
Okay...so it's only a few days before the end of my "Bygone Days" challenge, and there are ZERO entries...and I have a distinct feeling that it's going to stay that way, if it weren't for the fact that I know a lot of times there's last minute submissions in challenges, I'd see if I could just delete it now with as little interest as there's been in it.
I think this might be my last challenge as a result. I'm noticing my interests in art don't seem to mesh with this community being a place mainly intended for fanart.
I might not swear off challenges all together, if I come up with a uber-simplistic overly general idea for something, I might throw the idea out there at some point, but yeah, since my tastes in challenges don't seem to cater to the majority of tastes here on the site, I have a feeling running contests would be a waste of time for me in the long run and my time would be better spent elsewhere.

yeah, been making a tribute for the final space shuttle mission since the launch, and was finally able to finish it today. it's still one of the only times I've worked with actual video footage in a compilation, so I'm sorta proud of it.
and on a sidenote, Nasa ROCKS because they let you use their multimedia so long as you're not going to make money off it (which of course I'm not), etc. etc. basically similar grounds to using stock from deviantart prettymuch, they make it very easy and available.
