"You know that I don't love you"
"How can you say that we have been together since that thing happened!!" Shiro's eyes welled up with tears and his voice cracked. 'How could this be happening?!' he asked himself, 'we were perfect together everyone said so.'
Tikuya just turned his head and said "I am passed that its not fair that you keep holding that to me as if it is supposed to mean something."
"IT MEANS EVERYTHING, TI!!" Shiro screamed, "THAT MAN DID SOMETHING TO THE BOTH OF US THAT NEITHER YOU NOR I CAN EVER FORGET!!" 'This is all because of her.' Shiro thought. A few days previous to this, Tikuya went on a buissiness trip with a female co-worker who made Tikuya question if he really was in love with Shiro or if it was just friendship taken too far. She all but forced him to sleep with her and Tikuya didn't know what was going on until to late.
"Ti, please don't do this, it...its not fair. I love you and I can't let you go!"
"But the thing is," Tikuya began, "how do you know its not just friendship taken too far? How do we know this is real?"
"Because," Shiro cried, "because after I got hit by that bus, all you did was sit by my bed and hold my hand. For two whole weeks you held my hand and kept me from dying! Doesn't that mean anything to you Ti?!"
"Maybe so but I just don't know anymore. I mean, our parents hate us and most think that we are disturbed. Do you think that we would do this again if we knew all that?"
"Yes," Shiro replied, "yes I would and I would do it with more love and passion then I first did." Shiro placed his hand on Tikuya's knee. "Wouldn't you? You can't say that you don't love me even after all we have been through."
"Stop it!" Tikuya pushed away Shiro's hands. "Just stop. I don't know anymore! Renge-san said that I can't really be gay! She said..."
"I DON'T CARE IF SHE SAID THAT THE SKY WAS RED!!! YOU ShOULD NOT HAVE LISTENED!!" Shiro was in tears and couldn't stop them. 'That slut! I cannot beleive that she did this to us!'
"Look I am going to go away for a few days, think things over." Tikuya said softly.
"Fine. Go. Don't come back here. if you leave you are gone for good." Shiro said curlty. he was dying on the inside and couldn't think straight.
"Goodbye, Shiro-kun."
Shiro jsut turned his back and cried.
Shiro didn't see Tikuya for six years after that. Tikuya looked completely different. he had tattoos on his arms and his hair was black and white and he had a son. Renge had given birth to a boy not long after Tikuya had left. Shiro had also changed. He now worked at a local theatre and he had long bleached hair. Shiro was shocked as he walked up to Shiro's son at how much he resembled his father.
"He has your face, Ti-kun."
"Shiro-san what do you want?" Tikuya asked aprehensively.
"Just a question answered." Shiro replied.
"What is that?" asked Tikuya.
"Did you ever stop loving me?" Shiro asked seriously.
Tikuya thought for a minute, then slowly gave a mischevous smile, "No, I don't think I did." and at that Tikuya pulled Shiro into a kiss that seemed to wipe aaway that fight and Renge and all six years of seperation.
