Old Can Be A Blessing

~Aki~

I sighed as I walked down the street. Everything was s*it. Dirt and grime and human hunters. I longed for the old days. Before slaves and vampires and all this s*it. When everything was peaceful. I pasted a lot of auction houses. This was definitely a slave city. I had managed to go quite awhile without a slave. I was still grieving over my last one. He had been a good friend. I had failed to protect him though. Some master I was. I heard a scream and turned the corner to see a human woman being chased by a human catcher. He grabbed her by the hair and yanked her head backwards. I felt a pain in my gut as I looked at her exposed neck. Her eyes were wide with fear and filled with tears. The catcher smiled. I had had enough. I walked over and broke his arm. He screamed in pain as I moved between him and her. "What the f*ck are you doing you little brat?!!" I smiled. "You'll heal. It's not like I've killed you...yet." His eyes widened. "Y...you..." Ah he finally realized that I'm older than he was. I turned back and looked at the woman. "No need to take her." I put my arm gently around her waist and pulled her close to me. "She is mine." I smiled at her. "I told you not to wander off like that. It's dangerous to go around by yourself." She looked confused, but then she nodded. "I...I'm sorry...Master." I turned and smiled at the catcher. "So...if you don't mind I'll be taking my slave and leaving." We turned to go and he just sat there. He probably knew we were lying, but what was he gonna do? I was superior to him and he knew it. After awhile I stopped. "I think it's time to leave this nasty hole." I smiled at her. "Follow if you want, but I don't think you'll last long by yourself."

~Hope this is ok ^^
