"Hello!" Tessa said. Butterflykit glared at her, her eyes slits. "MOUSE-BREATH!" she spat at Tessa. Tessa was a thick-furred kittypet with a grey pelt and green eyes. That is how Tessa's and Butterflykit's hatred started.

"FOX DUNG!" Tessa spat at Butterflykit. They started yowling at spitting at each other, and then it went from yowling to biting, scratching, kicking, and attacks. "Butterflykit! Tessa! Stop fighting!" Goldkit yowled.

We went to our first Clan meeting that night. My father, Rainstar, said, "Welcome to another MoonClan meeting! We have some kits here. This is their first meeting, so treat them nicely. They will now receive their apprentice names."

We went up to the Flamestone nervously. "This is my daughter, Bloodkit. Her new name is Bloodpaw." I climbed down from the Stone. "Bloodpaw, Bloodpaw," the crowd said. "This is my son Sunkit. His new name is Sunpaw." Sunpaw climbed down. "Sunpaw, Sunpaw," the crowd mewed. "This is Bloodpaw's friend Butterflykit who has experienced some traumatic events. Her new name is Butterflypaw." Butterflypaw fearlessly climbed down from the stone. "Butterflypaw, Butterflypaw," the crowd mewed.
